No, she usually rolls in last minute. Even Juan doesn't know if she is sick or if she will be here this morning. We must wait.

Oh no way - if she is sick she needs to call the judge at the crack of dawn to let her know so she can cancel this trial for the day. Waiting until she either walks or doesn't walk into the courtroom? Inexcusable and unprofessional - I can't believe they don't know ahead of time.

I also try to keep in mind that Mr. and Mrs. Arias didn't kill anyone. They didn't ask for this. Having compassion for someone isn't in any way, shape or form synonymous with supporting them or their ungraceful actions in court.

I think mom is finally able to forge a bond with JA and it is worth everything to her. Even though JA never looks at her, I have to assume mom visits every evening and is a source of news for her daughter. It's probably somewhat gratifying to have the spawn throw her a bone....
