I think mom is finally able to forge a bond with JA and it is worth everything to her. Even though JA never looks at her, I have to assume mom visits every evening and is a source of news for her daughter. It's probably somewhat gratifying to have the spawn throw her a bone....

I think I read that she had refused all visits from her family? Some one correct me if I'm wrong?

I am perfectly willing to give the killer's mother some slack but I have to admit that I am concerned that the reason for her constant note taking has less to do with keeping up with the case and more to do with a future book deal. I have already seen how much she is willing to do for money with her attempt to sell the fake letters and the Ebay art sales. I don't think she is there as much for her daughter but for her own future benefit.

IF ALV was going to be too ill to continue today, she should have called in this morning. And they should have notified the jurors so they would not have to come into the court, only to sit around and wait and then be sent home again. JMO

Good morning, all. Haven't been able to keep up with all of the happenings of the last day or so, but one thing that struck me was the comment by Sandy Arias to Det. Flores that after Jodi returned to Yreka after the murder, she was all sweetness and light. In fact, SA said their relationship was the greatest it had EVER been. (Paraphrasing, of course). She couldn't imagine Jodi doing such a thing. This is proof positive of what a great con artist JA is. Her mother drank the Kool-aid, and still probably believes that JA was abused by Travis and was justified in murdering him. Thus, her callous attitude toward the Alexander family in the courtroom.

To me salmon is a pink color. Please don't tell me she had pink highlights put in her hair. Maybe she is wearing those little hair clip-ons. She is a little old for pink highlights!

A while back Wildabouttrial said that since everyone was fussing at him about his poor descriptions of the color of everyone's clothes, etc. that he would be referring to every color as "salmon" from now on. So his tweets for the past few weeks have been about salmon ties, shirts, blankets etc.
