Agreed! I don't understand why she released that statement yesterday - but now she's in court?? :twocents::twocents::twocents:

I doubt she will give an interview to anyone though.

She has just as much right now to be in the gallery as any other person.

IMO

Hi everybody: first post here. I've been 'lurking' since the CA trial, but remain a huge fan of all sleuthers on these boards. This animosity is what finally pushed me to register and join here; but the simple post above says it better than I ever could. I personally believe Ms. Arias is guilty of 1st degree premeditated murder, and while I cannot imagine sending someone to death row, if anyone deserves the DP, she probably does.

However, the personal attacks are really distasteful and, as had been said, we're all better than that. There are other things to talk about and debate rather than someone's appearance, and other things to do rather than taking away someone's ability to make a living doing the good things she did before she decided to testify in this trial.

Just my opinion, and I appreciate the forum in which to state it.

Welcome Melmc! Happy to have you here and good first post.

Tricolor is wearing a teal colored shirt and has blonde and red hair. She is in the seat closest to the wall in row 3 spectators #JodiArias

I get the impression this gal can hold her own. She has my utmost respect!

Absolutely. She may want to take notes in court for a future book. She may want to watch the last few weeks of trial in court. I don't blame her. She is mucho brave and I like that.

The Defense cries mistrial for every single thing. It's getting old.

I am kind of surprised that # 5 decided to come to the trial too. It kind of nullifies her lovely statement asking to be given her privacy and to be left alone. :waitasec:

Since many of us are not impressed with Ms. Wilmott and believe her trial skills and demeanor are lacking, you might be as bothered by what I read, as I was.

http://willmottlaw.com/attorneys.html

In addition to her criminal defense practice, Jennifer has taught hundreds
of attorneys trial practice skills and how to be a competent and effective
criminal defense attorney
. Many of the attorneys Jennifer has instructed
are now well respected criminal defense attorneys.

What are we missing? LOL

JMO and :moo:

just curious, she is addressed as miss wilmondt or ms wilmondt, what relationship is ken wilmondt to her?

:rocker: juror 5. You got balls!!!!! Awesome!!!
Moo.

This IS the reason the defense wanted her off the jury. Number 5 was a thinker, head strong and a leader not follower. I'm willing to bet that many of the juror questions, especially the snarky ones, originated from her.

I think she got duped by JA and that happened because of her own biases based on her field work.

Possibly.

But she still should have remained objective.

I am sure she knows that males are also victims of abuse even though she advocates for women only it seems.

I think Juror #5 should have stayed away. This is going to give the DT even more fuel for a mistrial IMO. :furious:

WHAT? she's in court?

  • #315
Juror number 5 in the courtroom. That's probably who Jodi was smiling at. I wouldn't put it past her.

yeah but #5 has the seat in freedom section and therefore gets the last laugh :)

Hope Juan gives ALV a test of her judgment. Show her two pictures - one with a rude text message vs what Jodi delivered to Travis and how he ended up dead in his own shower in the sanctuary of his own home. Alyce can't be trusted to be objective enough to determine which abuse is worse. :pullhair:

This is about as bad as Drew Peterson's trial with all the mistrial bs, but at least his DT was prepared. That prosecution IMO was not that great. Juan is way better. But how many times can they call mistrial? It's like the NFL fake refs throwing flags.

Haha Speaking of DP's trial, can you imagine if the jurors started coming in color coordinated clothes next week?!

I may be a buzz kill, but since I've sat in many trials over the years...

I'm not a fan of Juror #5 coming back. Sure, she's free to do so.

I've been becoming more and more worried about how much gets out of what is transpiring in the courtroom and outside, and I'm concerned. I think last week was a warning, and the less said, the better. Same with the media - I know they have a job to do, and they fight to get things released (because we, the public, are entitled to a lot of info)....but just because we "can" doesn't always mean it's a good idea. I am sooooo NOT a fan of HLN, but most of the time that is my only option to peek at this trial. I can't stand them. JMO, of course.

I've never been involved in a DP trial, but in my years of being involved, on both sides (unfortunately), I've always understood the court system to be very conservative and serious. Behavior should be the same.

Please Juror #5, please watch from your TV. Yes, we all want her to speak, but afterwards. Don't give the DT any tidbits.

JMO and :moo: (putting flame suit on)....

I hope she's here. That girl has a mind of her own and a pair, a good asset to WS.

Yep.

Can't wait for Katiecoolady's views on this.

Juror #5 can rent a banner plane and spell out a big F %$& to JA for sure, as long as she does it AFTER the verdict is handed down.
I seriously don't think it's appropriate for her to be there under the circumstances under which she was released.

This is not cool. Not at all, for any reason.
