Well that whole "Snow White" line of questions certainly had her plopping in her seat off and on.

The thing is ALV did a seminar with SW, but unfortunately I, nor the jurors have not seen it, I get he is trying to GET HER on the hypocrisy from it. But, I hope JM drops the whole thing about SW. He has enough to drop it, please Jm drop it.

I dunno about you guys... but I am ROYALLY SCREWED if my text messages and emails ever go on trial. :jail: Will someone sneak me some anti-fungal cream when I go to the big house? TIA

Royally????

Wait, are you really Snow White?? :giggle:

Shes a man hatter, molded from the 1970s, with tunnel vision, who cant see to the left or right. I hope JM comes out of left field.

Her glasses suggest FraudFreud Schadenfreude.

I need to stop before getting carried away.

No. I didn't. But I have heard her testimony. And I have been outraged and frustrated by it. Granted, I didn't witness the flow, so maybe I'm seeing things out of context but despite her ridiculous testimony, I don't think she comes across as a dishonest, paid liar or unlikeable and it's a mistake for attorneys to act too aggressively with likeable witnesses.

You know I wub you gitana and have the utmost respect for you but on this one issue I have to disagree.

ALV comes across as a hired gun to me. One who will say anything to put the murder defendant in the best light. One who completely ignores all the obsessive, stalker, and violent acts of the real perpetrator JA.

Imo, she cant possibly see this as true with the evidence known in this case. She really talked to no one other than the defendant and reading her journals (more lies)

She assumes way too much. No one knows why Travis was so upset with JA or what she had done to him to make him so angry with her but ALV makes it all his fault. I have a big problem with anyone who shows blatant biases.

She only refers to victims as females and males as abusers. Never once did she give an example where a man had suffered abuse by a dangerous female.

And on the stand when Juan was questioning her she all of a sudden turned very arrogant, defiant and combative. He is not going to stand there and take that nor should he. She could have cutout the sparring match by just simply answering the questions.

And you know yourself that jurors notice when the demeanor of a witness changes drastically when crossed. The jury couldn't be pleased........just like they weren't pleased when Samuels was acting like a jerk either.

IMO

If you are telling the truth there should be no back and forth with the prosecutor. It's yes or no answer and a comment to something that requires more. ALV knows what cross is and challenges JM on it. She knows better but can't resist getting one up on JM not realizing she defeats her purpose in doing so. Her job is basically done. She should just answer the questions and wait to be dismissed. She has done the best she can. If JM has evidence ALV is not aware of, she is an objective witness and it should not bother her. By reacting to questions and posturing she is showing the jury she is vested in Jodi's defense regardless of what the evidence shows.

i kinda see though why the witnesses get all pissed, the way juan asks questions that would require a yes or no would be damaging, so unless a witness elaborates, their answers will be taken in a negative way. i in no way think this is unfair or anything, especially seeing the stunts the defense team has pulled. but i do understand why they get pissed off. it's not 100% of the time, sometimes they are being evasive and untruthful.

it's like saying 'i ate the whole cake because i was hungry', and juan would say 'did you eat the whole cake?' and you would answer yes, but that would make you look like a pig lol.

ALV said she used the "disney cartoon characters" a big no no.

Did you see her answer his question..." which one was the victim, Travis or Jodi?"

And ALV answered that JODI WAS THE VICTIM.

Yes; this one was worth the price of admission.

I found that to be, by far, the most telling admission during any testiphoney we've heard since JM broke down JA and she nearly confessed in full just before she was saved by the judge.

So I'm watching HLN and they're FINALLY getting to the Snow White story. I'm laughing so hard.

Can anyone else imagine Travis watching this and smiling? ;) Big hugs to JM and the Alexander family.

Wow, wow, wow! I was having dinner with my grandma and got on the live stream on my phone just after JM started so I missed some of it. HLN is supposed to be playing it and they did up until JVM. Now that NG is on, we've gone back to direct.

Ugh!!! Why? I just want to see more of JUAN!!!

Dr D picks Juan up from where JVM left off

I think she started before she stole the gun, probably way back when murder first crossed her mind and I am sure lies were on every page because ja can't tell the truth ever!

Probably why the prosecution didn't even bother with trying to get that nonsense into evidence.

At least Dr. Drew is showing more of the cross-examination. Love how Juan's going on and on about the "Snow White" story, referring to where she lived as a shack and ALV corrects him with "cute little cottage".

:floorlaugh:

This woman hates men, and hates women who love men. Remember the tees out in the 70s that said PMS? PUTTING UP WITH MENS ****? I can totally see her sporting one. Thought she was cool.

i could be totally wrong because I'm no lawyer and am not legally savvy, and maybe it is really awesome strategy that I cannot see, but I kinda feel like the Snow White thing was overplayed.

I dunno ... I'm much more concerned about Cinderella.

ITA gitana1, imo that is why Juan brought up her pay. I think the jury did find her sincere in her opinions and Juan wanted to rein it in to remind jury she is still just a paid expert who is subject to bias. She is not someone who "knows" JA.

You're right. She doesn't "know" Jodi - not at all.

Unlike Samuels, though, I don't think she was paid off to give a favorable opinion. I do think she truly believes what she testified to.

Jodi is a pathological liar and she was not physically abused, at least not by Travis.

With all respect.

How can you find her likeable, yet be outraged at her ridiculous testimony?

She referred to Travis as a perpetrator today :(

Is Jodi's mother not her bio mother?

i agree, the part that solidifies the 'paid' part is that she claims jodi is just PERFECT in every way. no jealousy, no bad behaviour, travis was bad, jodi is a poor baby being battered. if i wanted to sound impartial i would at least the defendant had SOME faults.

I am no attorney. But, I don't find her likable AT ALL. In fact I find her shady and aloof. And not very bright at all. Often sitting with her mouth agape, looking lost.
