Could very well be the case. She did live in the Emerald Triangle. :twocents:
Well, there ya go! That explains The Fog...

I also have great respect for your posts and try to read all of them I can.
Regarding that list you gave, what kind of proof does the Jury have of any of that? I've heard an interview where she confronted a female friend of Travis in the bathroom, but did the Jury hear that? Plus, that now looks different to me now that I know TA was cheating on her, lying about it, and gaslighting her. That type of behavior can make you crazy. Going through phone and online accounts fits into the same category of trying to deal with someone who is cheating on you and lying about it. Again, has the Jury seen proof of that? I'm also not sure if stalking has been proven.
But, even so, all this now looks different to me in the light of their relationship and how he was treating her.
As far as interviewing TA, ALV has thousands of his own words in his most intimate and unguarded moments where he had no expectation of a third party listening in. She has been exposed to information that we have not.
IMO
Right, AS ALV SAID. But that doesn't make it TRUE.
Why do you think he called her the worst thing that ever happened to him? Why did he call her a sociopath?
Maybe because he caught her hacking into his private emails and IMs. Maybe because he found out that she secretly taped their sex call.
She was NOT his wife. She was his EX girlfriend. They only daed for 5 months and it was long distance.
She was not a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE victim. She did not live with him, depend upon him, had no ties to him, and no reason to feel trapped by him. They had no relationship. They were 'friends with benefits.'
I don't even believe her stories of physical abuse. She made that all up to escape the GUILTY verdict.
Half the day was spent deconstructing Travis' May 26 "you're a sociopath" - "the worst thing that ever happened to me" email. Taken in context of all Jodi had put him through the past year, he sounds like someone who's finally thrown off his chains and shouts to his oppressor, "I'm finally free of you," but ALV saw only the evil words of an abuser coming from nowhere for no reason whatsoever.
Mine was "Loverboy" red hot pants?
yeah... I am old!
What ALV is describing is a pattern of behavior that has very deep roots going back to childhood and that one would take from relationship to relationship. The more intimate the relationship, the more that pattern would reveal itself.
Do you dishonor and disrespect your wife, call her horrible names, rage at her, put her down, occasionally kick her [ok we have no proof of physical, but it fits the pattern of escalation]. As ALV said, the abuse in this relationship was escalating at an alarming rate, and Jodi was the one pulling away, not TA.
IMO
If the jurors are focusing/pondering on a fairy tale all weekend, I think it's a good thing. After days of testimony about abuse, battering, journals, text messages, what do you think the jurors are thinking about?
He didn't have time to refute days of testimony (and he did not tip off DT to his strategy next week), but he implanted lingering thoughts of a fairy tale.
Next week, we will hopefully see the detailed taking apart of the last few days testimony. He will show it was a fairy tale.

also... guess everyone has a "type"
Jim Cantore
Kevin Bacon
Anthony Edwards
and......
Jim Carey
If anyone didn't see After Dark tonight with Vinnie and Ryan, they had a shot of the courtroom with FOG passing through it.
:great:
She had hundreds, maybe thousands, of pages of Travis own words--to Jodi, to other women, in video, in audio, in his own journals--probably much more valuable than actually interviewing him in person.

"She has been exposed to information that we have not."???????
Where did you get this information???
I don't know about Melanie McGuire. I didn't follow that trial.
But, I've been saying repeatedly, why would you steal a gun to kill him with a knife?
I was all set to go with she used the gun first, no matter what the prosecutor says, and it jammed, until I heard ALV. Now, I'm totally set back and wondering if she had the gun with her because she was afraid of him. It would fit in with her not killing him immediately--that she never had any intention of killing him until things went wrong, one more time. ALV talks about the escalating level of apprehension and fear in the relationship. Scared people can become dangerous people.
IMO
Uh huh. So can living with a psychopath, trust me.I also have great respect for your posts and try to read all of them I can.

I'm thinkin he can prove her Snow White therapy with JAs drawing of Snow White with a black eye.
Proof she introduced JA to this fairy tale therapy beyond just a catchy title...jmo
I'm wondering if Jodi ever thinks back to when she first heard the name Juan Martinez from Flores. When he told her he was the toughest prosecutor in the State (or whatever it was he said), instead of asking "what's was his name again?" me thinks she should have asked "just how tough is he?"
