If anyone didn't see After Dark tonight with Vinnie and Ryan, they had a shot of the courtroom with FOG passing through it.

:great:
Totally need a screen shot of this

He also called himself a sociopath. Did you hear that?

If you really think someone is a sociopath, you would do well to not tell them, but just fold up your tent and silently sneak away. What is the point of calling someone all the names he called her?

IMO

Please tell me you're kidding.

:truce: As I said I think she is wrong. The problem with AVL is her inability to adjust her thinking to todays sexual norms. She is biased, but not by money, instead by time and her inability to see sex doesn't mean a man is in control. Women have evolved sexually and she just doesn't get it.

AND she hasn't a clue what is or isn't Social Media. In my eyes so much of this case involves Texts or Emails or FB or IM's etc etc. ALV had a hard time naming anything other then Texts. I'm sure shes a fine human being but this was not her finest hour. Monday is a long way away.

Wait a second - please tell me more about this JA drawing of Snow White with a black eye? Has it been introduced as evidence? If not, is it likely to even be allowed in?

I've seen it but I don't recall where. Sorry!

I don't know about Melanie McGuire. I didn't follow that trial.

But, I've been saying repeatedly, why would you steal a gun to kill him with a knife?

I was all set to go with she used the gun first, no matter what the prosecutor says, and it jammed, until I heard ALV. Now, I'm totally set back and wondering if she had the gun with her because she was afraid of him. It would fit in with her not killing him immediately--that she never had any intention of killing him until things went wrong, one more time. ALV talks about the escalating level of apprehension and fear in the relationship. Scared people can become dangerous people.

IMO
Two reasons. One, for back up and two, to make it look like there were two killers. Read her journal. She really thought she had it made. No one would suspect her because she wasn't there and after all, there were two killers.

JA's best friend in on the phone with NG and is heartbroken about what happened with JA. She started crying for JA. Now showing video of JA at the friend's wedding.

Her friend always sounds medicated IMHO

LOL. You did a very good job of holding your tongue. Thanks. I appreciate it.

You're welcome. But, you didn't answer my question. Oh well....

I cannot believe she is allowing that Juror to sit in the court room. To do what? Make faces at her friends on the Jury?

She can watch the entire trial at home.

IMO

It's one of our freedoms.

From above link:

So much for waiting until the trial is over. She seems to be enjoying every bit of attention she is getting and can't seem to wait to talk, only concerned with saving her butt. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a financial motivation there, too. Did the judge gag her? She should have because I think only the threat of jail may keep her quite.

She didn't SAY anything about the trial, and her "legal advisors" could be her husband. You're judging her guilty...and she hasn't done anything yet. Could she next week? Possibly, but until she's actually done something, how about we don't lynch her?

Hey Molly,
In those thousands of words written by Travis, did he ever physically threaten anyone with VIOLENCE?

Every abuser I have ever known was really good at making threats, which they usually carried out.

Why would she drive all those miles to go and see him if she was afraid of him? Seriously, SMH. It takes an extreme amount of courage for a victim of abuse to actually leave and get away. She left, she was far away, absolutely no reason to go back.

And yet she interpreted everything he said in ways the average person would not. Telling someone they've made you feel more terrible than when your own father died is not "character assassination." And Jodi saying "mmm i dont think IM the one being dramatic dear" when Travis was clearly extremely upset is not her trying to deescalate the situation--it is her being completely unempathetic and knowing full well that with that remark she's only going to upset him further by acting like he's crazy and she has no idea what's upsetting him. You are in the very small minority here. It was a MUTUALLY unhealthy relationship. While Travis wasn't perfect and he said some nasty things, so have most people, and it doesn't prove domestic violence, it doesn't prove she had a reasonable fear for her life that night, it doesn't justify what she did. The rest of the trial doesn't get tossed out the window because Travis called her an evil 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 during an argument.
Yes, but what was he talking about? What had she done to deserve that tirade? We don't know, do we?

But, I have to assume ALV knows because she was able to comment on it being an extreme reaction.

A lot of the details are being kept away from us.

How do you know she will be making faces at the jury?

That's like Nurmi calling all of the jurors liars for saying they've watched no media coverage of this trial.

Totally unfair.

I love Mark too, but he is WRONG, imo.

There is no way that Juan was going to actually begin his SERIOUS cross today at 4 pm. WHY would he even attempt that?

The defense purposely left him a half an hour, in hopes of getting a glimpse of his line of questioning.

So instead of falling in their trap, he PURPOSELY forced the expert to discuss Snow White and place her into the Abuse Continuum. LOL

Juan was not stuck in the weeds, he dragged the DT out there on purpose.
Jumping off your great post.

I am so far behind. I left today thinking, there is NO way JW will leave Juan with those last 45 minutes again. She did it twice and Juan has been able to leave the juror with some great things to think about over a long weekend. SO surprised she hasn't learned her lesson yet.

From what little I saw of the defense witness, she seems combative and not very professional. A hired gun, so to speak. If she really wanted to help JA, she would answer in a professional tone, not snarky.

What's up with Juror # 5 being there? Woah! She has every right to be there but I was very shocked.

JM~ he who is the only voice for Travis, is receiving nothing but snark and pretend confusion from ALV!

He is THE voice for Travis, doing his job and asking a question that ALV knows the answer does not favor the killer and she has the nerve to talk to him like an abusive client and say
"Mr Martinez are you angry with me" ???

proof of her bias that ALL MEN are the abusers.... Wow just wow

She continues to look at the DT when she answers with her smart arse smirk on her face
for approval

She is a hostile witness in my opinion

And pat Er I mean donavon needs removed stat with her continuous shady antics!!!

Rant over...

I saw her looking at the DT and smirking, imo because they spent time rehearsing her to deal with JM. Probably when she was abed with her illness yesterday afternoon. (moo). What struck me was that the judge overruled about 99% of the DT objections. IMO because he is totally proper in his questioning, and her testimony left a tank-sized opening for the prosecution.

LOL...you are just reaching now. If that is why she brought the gun then a.) why the sneaky burglary scheme and b.) why not just say that!? Why go to someone's home and allow yourself to be tied up if you are so scared of them you need a gun.

It does not make any sense!!!

Why would she pack two knives and a 9mm to go panning for gold with a group of men from work????? Must be a pattern for her.

Kind of. There is a show on the discovery channel called "Weed Country". It is based in the Emerald Triangle (Yreka, CA). :giggle: Go figure huh?
