I'm befuddled with the snow white thing.

I was hoping he'd use it to show Travis was really the one abused.

I'm confused as to why would she use this "catchy title" if none of it is in the content of the presentation?

I'm with JM. Why is ALV comparing a "child" to a woman with this snow white presentation?

She fought JM tooth and nail today as if she had seen him question other witnesses. I don't understand why she didn't just answer the questions. A lot of the ones ALV had a problem with were actually straight forward. I hope the judge cuts out all her commentating and sidetalk with "Mr. Martinez," Or that he starts to object to her trying to control her testimony.

Her title is part of the context of her snow white presentation and Juan is very clever to latch on to it!!!

She is being combative - because she perceives Juan as abusing her LOL
This will play into his further examination of her imo

I never tried to equate emotional abuse with murder. Don't put words in my mouth, please. And, yes, Jodi is the person who committed murder. Yes, murder is final. But, it's still not a time machine that can go back and erase the emotional abuse--abuse that is very possible without the partners living under the same roof.

How do we even know that TA was the author of all of these IM's or emails? Apparently, Jodi knew all of his passwords. The worst of these messages were sent around the same time she stole her granpa's gun. Maybe she sent herself these messages as well, just to show in court later on.

It's not a matter of her rights. It's a matter of what's right. She just got kicked out of a death penalty trial, missing a mistrial by who knows how much, and is now jeopardizing another mistrial cause. For what? So she can be in the same room again? If she wants to watch, there are other options. She doesn't have to be there in person.

She released a very sanctimonious statement about this being about the trial be more important and wanting privacy. Yet, now she's making it about herself by showing up there. Just because she was against JA, doesn't mean everything she does is golden.

Three words . . . "her legal advisor." The person who wrote the sanctimonious statement and coordinated the exclusive interview that the rest of the media couldn't get in the middle of a public parking lot in downtown phoenix.

Why would someone of her so-called stature need a "Catchy" theme for something so serious? ALV used the term "catchy" at least two times today. Who was she trying to "catch" or "attract" ?

I've written papers about research methodology and objectivity and called them weird stuff like "Harry Potter does Phenomenology". It's a pretty common academic practice.

Who cares? As long as its after the trial.

Don't bet on it.

If she can move forward without fear of a COC rap, the smart money'$ on sooner rather than later.

She did answer his question, --it was a catchy title--he just didn't want to hear the answer. He was hoping to impeach her with the title. He clearly hadn't watched her talk. Her talk was about gender roles and identification, not about whether Snow White was being abused by Prince Charming. And, her talk was given to professionals, not to the general public.

He was the one who missed the boat on that one, not her.

I do understand your point, except you forgot the evidence of thousands of words in the form of texts, emails, audios, etc that were introduced and explained by the expert as domestic violence. She also explained why she thought that they were. It wasn't a few messages. It was hundreds of interactions over the entire 18 months. She was on the stand for 7 days.

The expert is looking for patterns of behavior that increase in intensity and frequency.

We heard him talking to her on that sex tape 3 weeks before June 4th. Did that sound like someone who was trying to get rid of her, being stalked, trying to get her out of his life? No, it didn't.

Something happened towards the end of May that made him very angry at her and maybe even fear her. But, I still don't know what that is.

IMO

This expert was PAID to try and FIND patterns of behavior to testify to for the defense.

If Travis had killed Jodi, and his attorneys hired ALV, she could have used the very same texts and emails, and found patterns of abuse BY JODI.

I think you need to look at the crime scene photos again. Just sayin'...

I thoroughly agree with this... I will say that we don't know why she was kicked off. It could have been because of an abundance of caution in a highly publicized trial; what she did might not have been of the level that would have resulted in her being removed in any other trial, but the judge did what she thought was best.

Regardless, yesterday she said that she wanted the attention to be on the trial and not her, and asked for people to respect her privacy. And a day later, she showed up in court. I just have a hard time reconciling the two.

Finally, I'd just say that we don't know which side she's on. And it shouldn't matter. I am curious about what she has to say, regardless of which side she's on, but I want it to be after the trial is concluded.

Isn't the prosecution calling a computer expert for their rebuttal case? May be because of what you're speculating.

To me I think the smart money is just before deliberations, wait a little but not too long, ah heck I really would not pay much for her, would rather wait for an actual jury member if I was at HLN/FOX etc

When her picture was posted earlier here, I thought it was Donovan with a wig.

Anyone loony enough to cough up $250/hour just to have her read lies to them.

It only cost $250 per hour to read the lies - But the taxpayers of Maricopa County pay $300 per hour when she testifies in court about these lies.....

Whether we think she is guilty or not guilty and by what degree, who thinks she should be in for life (let's not do the death question, some are opposed to anyone being put to death) to simplify who thinks she should stay in for life and if you don't do you think she should get out now and she should not be there... she should be in 10 yrs, 20?

well, that's the problem for the DT, isn't it.

Those pictures aren't going away.

Nevertheless, one does try to understand what happened...

BBM

Something happened in May that made her very angry at him -- angry enough to plan and execute his murder.

And we still know exactly what that was.

This trial and the defense are really bothering me.

I understand it is the defense's job to try their best and do everything within their abilities to defend their client, but to the point of slandering the victim? That is despicable. Jodi is some angel and Travis is to blame because he "abused" her? I have yet to see ANY shred of evidence pointing to this alleged abuse. Self defense somehow equals shooting a man and then stabbing him and slitting his throat? And photographing it? Travis's family and their ribbons are insulting but the Arias family can wear ribbons in honor of domestic violence victims? And JW is an absolute disgrace. Her behavior in the courtroom is astonishing. I've never seen such unprofessionalism, not even from Baez and Cheney Mason, who I abhor.

Who CARES if Juan comes off as aggressive? Is the jury going to ignore the facts of the case and acquit Jodi because Juan is fed up with the defense and their witnesses and their underhanded antics? It's almost like the defense knows they're going down so they want to make it as painful for the Alexander family as possible.

Why should the victim's family have to suffer so much? Haven't they suffered enough?? I'm so appalled. Thank goodness we have Juan to look forward to on Monday. We are one step closer to a verdict. Thank you Juan for being a voice for Travis. God be with the jury and help them see truth and justice for Travis.

And to whoever said they feel sorry for Juan's wife, why? Juan's wife is not on trial for murder. His wife isn't defending murderers or lying. How can anyone look down on a man who fights for justice with so much conviction? I'm sure his wife is proud, as she has every right to be.
