Wow, The DT just simply wants to remove any piece of testimony that is not in Jodi's favor. If they were to succeed, all the jury would be seeing is Jodi's side.

But isn't this an attempt to get the toothpaste back in the tube? How do they 'unhear' the testimony they heard. I mean I know they would be given special instructions, but as regular human beings....you just can't unring a bell.

ya know i am honestly rethinking my opinion of June 4, 2008.. I've always been of the mindset that while IMO it was a surprise attack(ie.as in he had no idea Arias was coming)..but up until now i always just accepted that he didn't in any way shun her or her sexual advances that day.. as in he was still attracted to her sexually and thus this allowed his guard to be COMPLETELY DOWN..

But as of today i am for the very first time questioning if I've taken the word of Jodi with too much weight wrt to this specific issue and her version of events..its obviously an issue and critical point in time that WE ONLY HAVE ARIAS' ACCOUNT AND VERSION OF THOSE HOURS OF JUNE 4.. and honestly as we know her accounts cannot at all be trusted or believed, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT ANYTHING WHATSOEVER TO CORROBORATE HER VERSION OF EVENTS..

I suppose the sexual in nature pics is what i have thus far used as a form of corroborating Jodi's acct of those hours leading up to the murder ..

I just honestly am not so certain anymore about that critical window of time, and am really rethinking my opinion on just how willing, unwilling, hesitant, or possibly even fully resistant that Travis very well could have been that day..kwim?

hmmmmmm..just alot to think on about this issue.. anyhow nothing more than my rambling thoughts regarding my for the first time rethinking how or what i believe about those critical hours of June 4th leading up to the murder..and was Travis merely thinking with the wrong head, as I've believed all this time was the way in which his guard was down, or have i been mistaken in my thoughts about this?

I would like to know if you completely throw out JA's lying version... completely, and look only at the hard facts and evidence (those contained in the reports, crime scene photos, photos on the camera, etc.) what is left. What story does that tell?

I disagree. For a national disease organization I am associated with, there are several keynote speakers. The board of directors and local officials welcome people at the first general session. At some point during the conference, there is a keynote speaker for a general session about research, followed by various workshops about research developments. At another, there's a keynote speaker for a general session about care, followed by workshops about care. Etc. There is no one introductory keynote speaker for the conference. These speakers who introduce major topics are referred to during the planning meetings as the keynote speakers, they are asked to be keynote speakers in communications from the organization. I am not sure if they are always referred to in the program as keynote speakers but that's what they are.

I think this is a trivial point that JM is going on about. If he could show that she padded her resume consistently, then sure point out this discrepancy, but making an issue of whether she was 'a' keynote speaker or 'the' keynote speaker seems silly to me.

Apparently you want to disagree with me, and I am fine with that. But keynote by its very nature means one special key speaker. Large conference groups, associations etc have entire depts dedicated to finding a keynote speaker for their conferences. In fact, s Keynote Speaker is what may draw many attendees. There may be other speakers, featured speakers, but I have never seen 2 KEYNOTE SPEAKERS. There is a lot of prestige in being a Keynote Speaker.

Not trivial at all.

OMG, yes - even worse indeed, given that she's supposed to be the expert on domestic violence - and she is stating that NO, she does not believe he is afraid... because he returned to his abuser.

There isn't a battered women's shelter in America that should allow this women to enter their front door after today. Period.

She, (the defense witness that approached the victims next of kin in the CR), the domestic violence expert who chooses NOT TO BELIEVE a now dead man because she could not gather (based on the 'context') that he was truly afraid of jodi - even though he states that he is.

Again, they should take away her keys and prevent her from ever entering another battered women's shelter again. She is NOT an advocate of domestic abuse victims. She is an advocate for women - regardless of their actions, character, or history of wrongdoing, lying & violence.

and I will take it up one more level, even... ALV is an advocate for THIS woman (JA)... And manages to throw the other women even remotely involved in the case... Under the bus...as well...

I don't like the stand she has taken on the witness stand. I don't even particularly like her. But in a way (please don't throw things at me) in a way I really do feel a little pity for ALV today.

I mean think about it. First thing she gets called to the judge's office. Then she gets on the stand and JM keeps confronting her, then proves she lied on her CV. LOL she is really having a bad day.

BTW if I was a defendant, I would never want this woman to testify in my defense.

But look at the REASON she was called into the judge's chambers. Most likely it was because of her own actions. She walked up to Travis's sister and stuck her face into hers, and totally violated her sacred space and that was right after saying that the killer was the victim and not Travis. So that was a pathetic move, imo.

I love JM and think his cross so far is brilliant. However, I am so ready for this witness to be finished...for many reasons and the dumbest reason among them is her initials. Every time someone here posts ALV all I can see in my head is:

Yes, and it shows her to be inherently dishonest. If she is assured of her opinion and is willing to stake her professional reputation on it, why worry about any question the prosecutor might ask? If instead she knows her opinion to be on shaky ground and based on questionable logic, then she would fear his questions and feel a deep need to figure them out before they're asked.

To me, that woman looks very afraid. Her mouth sounds completely dry. And that look she gave to the jury at the end.. oooh boy. It appeared her stomach had sunk like a cold dead stone.

Me too. I don't think they had sex that day. I don't think he wanted her there at all. She took all of those photos including the ones of herself. She tried to stage photos with the KY, etc. In my opinion, he was mad that she was there and didn't want anything to do with her.

If TA didn't take the pics of JA, where was he when the first of the JA nude photos (that we have seen; there are more we haven't seen) was taken? He wasn't in the bed. If you lighten the photo, you can see the headboard and the entire bed all the way to the chair and the wall. Then, 50 seconds after the last closeup of JA, TA magically appears on the bed. Remember, all the photos are timestamped and the EXIF info on the memory card shows they were all taken from TA's camera.

Just 3 weeks earlier he talked in detail--he brought it up, she didn't--about what kind of shots he'd like to take "with a quality camera"--and he just happened to recently purchase such a camera. He went into detail about parts of her body he loved.

I'm not saying he was glad she came, but I don't see any reasonable explanation of why they didn't take the photos of each other just as JM said in the opening statement. MOO
