Now I can see that ALV coached Jodi a lot more than I imagined - the way Jodi would answer "yes and no" to questions or say it wasn't a yes or no answer then elaborate as much as she wanted to, all very ALV.

I cannot believe this woman. Before she was questioned on direct I actually thought she would have some integrity and be honest. I was beyond wrong. She has zero integrity and choses to believe what she wants to and ignores everything else.

http://www.cce.csus.edu/conferences/ican/10/agenda.htmThe ICAN event ALV is talking about had a keynote speaker in the morning and then a 'luncheon keynote speaker'. Her session was nothing but a breakout session. Juan used this to rock her credibility in the exact same way that he did with RS.

I went through something like this with an ex. He used to hack all my accounts and I couldn't figure out how he would continue to get my passwords/info after I changed them several times. I had my friend come over (he's a computer tech) and he told me that jason had a keylogger installed on my computer that captured every single letter I typed!!! Everything. This keylogger allowed him to read all of my emails/log ins/ everything including snapshots of what i did on my computer. He didn't have to sit in front of my computer to get all the info. This logger sent him all reports to his email..he could monitor everything from a remote location and I had no idea. He was able to put this logger on my computer while we lived together and when I threw him out he continued to watch me. He used all of his info against me and threatened me with it. i couldn't figure out how he knew certain things. I was so afraid to use my computer that i brought another one. Even after my friend removed the spyware I felt like i was being watched. So if jodi did anything like this, changing passwords wouldn't do a thing...I think this is where the computer rebuttal witness comes in....stealth key loggers are scary.

Eek! Very scary...

I hope your ex is long gone finally!

Yes, and it shows her to be inherently dishonest. If she is assured of her opinion and is willing to stake her professional reputation on it, why worry about any question the prosecutor might ask? If instead she knows her opinion to be on shaky ground and based on questionable logic, then she would fear his questions and feel a deep need to figure them out before they're asked.

To me, that woman looks very afraid. Her mouth sounds completely dry. And that look she gave to the jury at the end.. oooh boy. It appeared her stomach had sunk like a cold dead stone.

Yes and in my opinion when you have truth on your side and are speaking the truth, there is no reason to be afraid, ever. She knows what she is doing up there is wrong and unethical.

I would like to know if you completely throw out JA's lying version... completely, and look only at the hard facts and evidence (those contained in the reports, crime scene photos, photos on the camera, etc.) what is left. What story does that tell?

If I looked only at the evidence ignoring JA's stories completely I would have to say that Travis and JA did end up having sex or at the very least Travis was willing to pose nude for Arias. It is not reasonable to think that JA had him at gun-point from the afternoon itself. JM believes they did have sex and that she asked him to pose for her. Sorry, you didn't ask me but I'm just typing this to get more clarity for myself.

I think she knew his passwords and looked at his gmail, im's, facebook, voicemail, etc. - anything and everything private. I believe she even admitted to responding to his private messages as him - she had no boundaries.

Yes, imagine how many potential wives were turned off to receive a closing text from Travis, "I'm going to bed with Jodi now...."

She has almost a mafia-like attitude- "You have no idea who you are dealing with..."

And he didn't. When he did, it was too late.

PS. I believe he cried in the shower because he had already been stabbed in the bedroom. The vena cava wound had an upward slant and was described as oblique in the autopsy report. Perfect angle for a left handed person standing next to a person restrained on the left side of the bed, which we see portrayed in the picture. With the wide arc required, she had lots of room for that compared to the cramped quarters of the shower where his arms are protecting his chest and he is sitting down.

I think he thought she had gone until that one picture with his arms up and there is a look of shock and disbelief on his face. She is back with the knife and is dressed in some weird hooded outfit with gloves on her hands....and maybe backup.

On his face is definitely WTF?

I don't know if anyone remembers this, but a few years ago, my favorite b-ball player, Dirk Nowitzki, had a stalker and was somehow able to weasel her way into his life. If you go and read his IMDb page, there is a very long thread which is basically a dedicated stalking thread. It was very scary and this went on for...months and months. I think it's still there by the way. These women were hacking his phone records, emails, IMs, texts. They knew who he was dating, where he was, everything at all moments of his life. I don't know if that woman posted there, but she eventually became engaged to him before he called the cops on her and had her arrested.

I do think that someone who is a desperate stalker will find ways to monitor the object of their obsessions. And Jodi actually knew Travis, so it was even easier for her.

Is there a new thread for the pm session?

I don't appreciate the aggressive tone in your post Mr. Steely Dan.

Post verdict agenda: Help Beth get to be part of a good show or get her own show! She's better than all the rest put together! (Sorry, NG, your heart is in the right place and you're very intelligent but you get second-hand information from incompetent people and it makes for a bad show!)

I totally agree, she is the only one who actually conducts herself as a professional reporter.

There was 1 Keynote speaker and 4 "contemporaneous" breakout speakers from 11:10 am- 12:10pm. No one else spoke. So by that rule, there were 5 keynotes and No speakers.

I stand corrected now that I"ve seen the program. There are two keynote speakers listed at that conference. Catherine Connell was the keynote speaker who introduced the workshops and Mike Farrell was the keynote speaker for the luncheon. ALV simply presented a workshop following Ms. Connell's address. There is no way ALV would have been referred to as a keynote speaker by the planners. They would have asked to her do a workshop. I've done a bunch of them (in a different field) and never once was the word 'keynote' even mentioned to me.

During the break: I'll assume that the jurors are on their own for lunches, but does their fee cover transportation? Also, when the jury is sequestered during deliberations, will meals be included with their accommodations?

Yes, I am.

It seems when I look back at some of my posts, I'm not seeing any Thanks.

:waitasec:

That thanks button has been messed up for awhile. Every other "thanks" I get a big old yellow exclamation point in a triangle. Really makes me angry when I really really want to thank a great post! By time I refresh so I can thank that post, the thread has zoomed on for 11 pages or so!

  • #2,314
Is anyone else having difficulty with the "Thanks" button? I am having to refresh the page every time I click on it, and it's getting frustrating :banghead: I keep falling behind but want to acknowledge excellent posts.

I can't keep up with the thread. There are many posts I don't get to read, and many I would probably love to thank. So I'd like to say, Thanks to all the great posts I've missed!

Her behavior also reminds me of JA's comment about "being all scrambled when men like JM are screaming at her" or whatever she said....that's a page right out of ALV's book.
