Yes where is the Jodi Arias Manifesto??
We should demand to see it.

It could be very deep and profound and save mankind.

However I fear it may turn out to be like that Twilight Zone episode.
When the aliens landed and appeared friendly, they had this book with them that the humans tried to translate but could only do so for the title of the book, "How To Serve Mankind."

The aliens said it was therir "manifesto" on cooperating with humans and helping us.

Too late the humans found out that it was a cookbook.

I'm afraid if I see the Jodi Arias Manifesto......My eyeballs will melt. So I can't take that chance. :rocker:

Good Morning to all WSers...and those who just read here :)
Of course my trained brain worked on this stuff all night as I slept....
I may have missed it but has there been any testimony from anyone who ever witnessed JA flip out, act out, rage on, etc? The only thing I've ever seen is her parents' interviews where they talked about it and mentioned a male friend of hers calling them. Apparently she was acting out so badly that the friend called a hotline.
It came across that she was unable to contain or control herself according to them.
But in court, she is the picture of calm and controlled.
All of my thoughts about her planning to kill Travis involved a level of her being calm, contained and sneaky. We all know that she didn't hit Mesa gun ablazin, screaming like a banshee...but I think she did when she killed him.
She comes across so calm...but that is 1000% opposite of the interviews with her parents. That side of her has no restraint. I bet it took everything she had to hold herself together for a very long time, keeping her eye on the prize. She told her sister she was going to marry Travis.
I don't think TA really knew the rage that she was capable of because she held it together while staying on course.
No one has testified that she ever lost it in front of them, not in the way her parents described how she would flip moods.
Several people have questioned why she would go stab happy on him. It's crystal clear to me now. I've still been thinking of it from a relatively normal POV...no comments on that! LOL
She raged on TA the way she raged before. It was always in her to do it, if her ultimate dream was being taken from her. And TA was done with her.
I do think they had sex that day. I think she was SURE that she could alter TA's plan to take Mimi or anyone else to Cancun. She is so smart, ahem, that she was sure she could get this lifeplan back on track. When TA didn't budge on the ending of their 'relationship' she went crazy. Sorry for the venting but its hard sometimes to figure this out to my own satisfaction.
I wish that her parents interviews would be known to the jury. I don't understand why they aren't or why they haven't been called to testify.

See my new avatar for Einstein's opinion of Jodi's comparable intelligence.

Thank you for the levity this morning. It is sorely needed!! Love your avatar.:rocker:

Morning All -

I have a Dr appointment this morning and I hope they're on time. I don't want to miss any testimony today.

Can't wait for the rest of ALV notes to come out...yesterday was just off the charts absurd. Jodi---comparing her IQ to Einstein, the Manifesto, and correcting other's grammar. Puh-lese.

Good point. The Salem trials reference sounds like something a media observer would come up with, not a lawyer.

Jodi at Salem: http://www.cartoonstock.com/lowres/rjo0541l.jpg

JM and Willmott, being "compact", would have passed the ordeal by water test by sinking in the pond and being pulled out in the nick of time. He-who-will-not-be-named would be headed for the gallows after bobbing like a cork.

Morning Softail. Fancy meeting you here! Are you trying to get in on the early morning triumvirate I've got going with Rose222 and The Farm?

Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm doing.

Love your avatar!

Note to self<

The ppl at the trial are on tv. They cannot hear you, so no need to scream.

The trial participants are real ppl, not actors, because really would anyone believe actors would hmm..act like this.

The defendant deserves no mention so yelling "you lying sack of..." does not help.

This will all be over soon so maybe I can earn back some IQ points then. Right now i have to borrow from the lil Einsteinpants.

I've a question. These females that the defense claimed TA was talking too,Are they real people or was it JA making up names and trying to con TA into saying sexual things ,she could add to her list of things to use against him. oh did JM ever talk to any of them?TA must have had lots of different people on his friends list. its shocking if these names are real ,how people use their real names to chat with people they don't know. so easy to find out where one lives if one puts their real name while talking to strangers.

Good morning all from Canada. I am sure this will have been covered before but, I hope when Juan called an end to yesterday's session "for the matter we discussed" that it was to hear the motion for a mistrial filed on Sunday by Nurmi. If so then we should start on time today but if not there is going to be yet another delay in this debacle of justice.

For the DT to claim that Prosecutorial misconduct is causing the defense team from providing Ms Arias with an adequate defense is ludicrous, inane, ridiculous, contrived, laughable and their only faint hope to save the evil demon from a quick trip back to her home below.

The conduct of the DT in general and Wilmott in particular has prevented the prosecution from presenting their case in a continuous, coordinated way. Petty objections, repeated sidebars at which they usually fail to succeed, misconduct by their witness by contacting the victims family, obvious vigilance toward the jury in an attempt to spot the most minor infraction to eliminate a juror and I believe that picking ones nose in open court qualifies for misconduct...eh Nurmi?

I have read the motion for a mistrial and it made me nauseous. Wilmott may get out of this fairly unscathed but Nurmi, Samuels and LaViolette have SERIOUSLY damaged their careers with this case and have only themselves to blame.

Speaking of the hearing last night after court.

We have seen others, discussion, etc. on camera.

Why wasn't this one?

Has the court decided to take care of business outside of actual court time? If so, great.

Except shouldn't we be able to see these hearings? If we see some, why not all?

Isn't a manifesto usually done for a mass murder? :waitasec:

Well Nurmi's website says his specialty is clients charged with sex crimes. I think he will do Ok after this.

I feel so bad for Travis's family & friends at this point. Fairy Tales, Einstein, he' the abuser. I am sick of listening to it really.
Alyce in Wonderland is getting on my nerves and I just feel like there are a few faces I would like to crack right about now.

I was just watching a bit of yesterday's trial testimony -- I did not know there was trial yesterday, and it wouldnt have mattered even if I did know cuz I had to spend the day in mediation (booooorrrring).

So, I think it's safe to say that Alyce's whole trial presentation has completely unraveled. It's unsettling to watch some of it.

Both Alyce and Juan seem tired, and bored and distracted. In fact, even the judge and Wilmott seem disengaged

One of her CA coworkers said on tv that Jodi got so mad when she couldn't get someone to change shifts to accommodate her that she went in a restroom, screamed, and kicked a hole in the wall.

Isn't a manifesto usually done for a mass murder? :waitasec:

I was watching Nancy Grace one night and she talked to one inmate and the inmate stated that JA had (not word for word) basically chopped up the person she killed and spread his parts throughout the desert. :what:
