It may have already been posted but just in case others are looking it's here:

Jodi Arias Trial - Jennifer Willmott Motioning to Witness? - YouTube

For what it's worth, I don't think Wilmott is 'signalling'.

Look how her suit sleeve is tight with her blouse sleeve bunched up underneath it. I think her quick arm streching movement was done because she realised her suit jacket was so tight she wasn't going to be able to get her hand to the top of her fluffy little head without loosening it, hence the rapid 'shake out' of her sleeve.

(Sorry if this has been pointed out in the 20 pages intervening between your and mine!)

The TH's on HLN thought she was.

So, am I right that ALV testified that she didn't interview anyone except JA? If that's the case, how did Aimee "tell her" about this manifesto? My brain is starting the day scrambled, I guess.

IMHO she went there to torture him, not just to kill him. I don't know if they had sex that night or not. There are a lot of things no one will ever know about because Jodi is a sociopath and narcissistic manipulator that likes to play games, and these are the only kicks she's getting these days.

I completely agree. Of course ALV was taken in by Jodi - she is a psychopath. That is what she DOES. And she's a good psychopath, too, since she managed to find two mental health professionals that bought into her story. And I'm not saying they should have known better, either. Psychopaths can dupe ANYONE. That is part of what makes them so incredibly dangerous. Everything that comes out of her mouth should be suspect, as well as all her actions. She doesn't think like we do, and has no conscience. I doubt anyone could truly understand her, except maybe another psychopath.

The conduct of the DT in general and Wilmott in particular has prevented the prosecution from presenting their case in a continuous, coordinated way. Petty objections, repeated sidebars at which they usually fail to succeed, misconduct by their witness by contacting the victims family, obvious vigilance toward the jury in an attempt to spot the most minor infraction to eliminate a juror and I believe that picking ones nose in open court qualifies for misconduct...eh Nurmi?

I have read the motion for a mistrial and it made me nauseous. Wilmott may get out of this fairly unscathed but Nurmi, Samuels and LaViolette have SERIOUSLY damaged their careers with this case and have only themselves to blame.

JMOO

I place this on the fault of this judge. I have so many questions regarding the rulings of this judge but mainly her overall Loss of Control. I believe its gone so far that the DT is taking full advantage, knowing they have virtually gained Control of this Trial As for Wilmont's constant Objection/OverRuled, turning to an Approach----enough is enough. And can't this judge instruct the "expert" Witness to give a Yes/No answer where its called for.
And yes I believe Nurmi is going for Volume on the amount of requests for a mistrial....so he can later say, we were denied 6-8-10 times
Its bad enough this judge allowed in Jodi's crated journal, but Facts for TA's side are denied...too prejudicial = too obvious. The jury should get to see JA's parents interview ....they can believe what they want from them, but at least let them view, and also the people who knew JA and worked with her

It is, so is Plato's Republic though.
My our little HS dropout sure has delusions of grandeur. I bet she thinks she'll be eating steak and be provided with art supplies in her private cell like Hannibal Lector was and then her infantile bug eyed coloured pencil portraits will hang next to the Van Gogh's at the Tate Gallery.

There's something vomit-inducing about seeing her (even in an implied sense) grouped with Plato and Van Gogh. On the other hand, Hannibal Lector seems reasonable enough, though she hasn't yet developed his culinary tastes. Maybe it's just a matter of time.

Well that's a thought.
She'd get pregnant just to get the extra 9 months.

Wow! We're all having some scary group mind merge. I woke up last night wondering what would have happened if JA was pregnant and then realized that even if she was, she won't be by the time she's escorted into an execution chamber.

I think that if TA had killed JA ALV would be testifying for the prosecution. JMO

I think if Martians had killed TA ALV would be testifying on behalf of the Martians.

Good morning, fine folks!! I hope this mistrial crap doesn't take up the entire day.

(I must have missed something last night! Time outs everywhere!)

I've read the new DT motions and have to ask. Do they have a stack of these in Nurmis brief case they can insert a date onto and submit at whim? Because that's what it looks like.
Other than the fact that JM is methodically making their prime witness look like a bumbling fool, what happened yesterday to prompt this motion?

I imagine they are in his case and look like Mad Libs or something.

I see no reason to think she has.

Morning Schuby,

There is some skepticism about her and a family pet that she kicked and supposedly he ran off and was never heard from again, that is all that we know of.

it doesn't do much good when the judge asks 'can you answer that question yes or no?' cuz the answer is going to be NO every time!!!!

i've seen other judges MAKE the witness answer yes or no, and then it's the DT's job to clean it up on re-direct. this judge doesn't work that way, obviously.

Speaing of Hannibal, do you know of the new TV series that started last week--Hannibal?

About the early years of Dr Lector and Will Graham working together actually. It was good.

Hmmmm. You have given me an idea. What if Jodi was faking each of these ladies' ID and chatting to Travis.......AND what if Juanyummy has proof that it was actually Jodi? Like maybe her ip address. I noticed how he was specific about stating the whole name of each lady. Thoughts?

the reason I asked was about 10 years ago a girl friend of mine thought her man was cheating,so she made up lots of fake messenger accounts and put fake pics on them. she wanted to see if he talked to these females.. and he did but it was always polite .(rremember all these fake accounts is his girlfriend and he didn't know) he never cheated on her. she even made fake emails . sad part is he found out about it from her.you know the all truth stuff after a few drinks, she wanted him to know how she trust him, cause she did this and that online talking to him and he is a good guy.. the guy left her all trust and love went out the window for him..

Morning everyone. I know the talk of the day is the Manifesto, but I asked up in the lawyer thread, and am asking here, what the legal minds think of this latest Motion for Mistrial Due To Juan Martinez Being a BadAzz and Preventing the Defense Team from Snowing the Jury.....? :)

That actually was filed on Sunday afternoon I believe.

It seems they file there motions on Sundays. If I recall there was one also filed on Easter Sunday of all days.
