I have a question that has probably been answered already....but ALV mentioned something on the stand that she could walk off of a case at any time.....what would happen if she did that??

I don't think she can walk off at THIS point. She is probably under subpoena, so she is compelled to be there whether she likes it or not. She was probably able to walk off sooner if she didn't agree with the DT, but not now.

BTW, as in the CA case, I can never see the acronym "DT" without interpreting it as the "Death Team".

No doubt she has her own cult following -- kinda like Juan, but we're cooler and a lot more rational :)

Now y'all make me laugh or cheer me up cuz I'm sick :(

We are way cooler and we dont live in a fairy tale world. Feel better. If it's the flu and same bug i had it hits hard and fast but recovery is quick :seeya:

People I can think of with Manifesto's:
Hitler
Unabomber-Ted Kaczinski
Christopher Dornan- Big Bear serial killer
Jodi Arias
all terrorist whackos.

Valerie Solanas (attempted murder Andy Warhol)

I have definitely been getting the same impression from him, in fact remarked about it to a friend just yesterday.

As I said, this witness and he are normally at opposite ends of the spectrum. And with JA claiming Travis to be a pedophile, no wonder he wanted off the case.

MOO

I think she sees herself as being bullied. She's wrong, but I very much think that is how she perceives the situation.

I almost agree. I think ALV desperately wants to jury to see her as bullied. She has lied and dug a hole so deep she'll never get out of it, so, in a way, like JA, she is trying to be perceived as the victim or object of abuse. Like JA she can't contain her smugness and arrogance and seems to be playing to the jury when she thinks she's won, like the "time out" remark. I can't imagine she'll ever admit anything she did is wrong, and it will always be someone else's fault. I hope her career is finished after this trial. the more I see of her the more dangerous I think she is.

What was it about Travis that had Jodi so obsessed? She's not a bad looking girl and dating guys wasn't a problem for her. I just don't understand stand why she slaughtered him and why would she think that she'd get away with it. Travis seemed to be a nice guy...a cheater but nice. He wasn't worth throwing a life away in prison or death. I just don't understand people who think they can commit the perfect murder. It's ridiculous to believe you're smarter than everyone because at that point, you're so smart until you're STUPID!

It's so nice that JM let this witness run on and on with Wilmott. Opening doors willy-nilly with never a thought on the consequences.

I am behind, missed the beginning of the trial today...started watching at 4:30 central time. I plan on watching the beginning....but have a question, was the "manifesto" brought up again today?

I'm not a lawyer but I learned this in the CA case. I believe a report is pretty much explaing their conclusion and what they used to reach it. Once they write a report it has to be turned over to both parties. If they don't turn in a report they can tell the defence what is what and then leave JM with just their notes. That is why JM is useing her notes instead of her report.

But Juan had a deposition with her and played part of that in court today. Why was he able to take the Depo?

all terrorist whackos.

And, of course, me.

I went through two Sharpies. People were wondering what was taking me so long in the Men's Room.

I have personally gone out of my way to never annoy any of them, and that's my thanks.

Her mother says in her interview with Flores,Jodi did not have a bad childhood & that she lived in a fantasy land. Her father says she started lying at 14 & treated her mother terrible. This is why neither testified for her. They both asked if she killed Travis-They knew she did in MO
Who are they going to call in the penalty phase for her mig factors??

Her laptop was stolen in February. Don't know if she had her report on it and if she had some back ups

Well hells bells! I hope she had a backup. And even if she didn't I bet she'd write her report and turn it. Some Experts are good that way. :blushing:
