Someone on HLN said, typically you would have to pay 3.99 a minute to listen to all this sex stuff you hear in the courtroom.

Who besides Jody ever said they were official ??? I thought she said her new religon encouraged unmarried people to date around. I haven't seen anything or person say they were going steady.

They weren't is my guess?:what::what:

whoops - must of hit enter. I think they'd have a really hard time getting anyone with "name recognition". They will all see what has happened to the "old ALyce" lol

Answer: Yes

Source: Jodi Ann Arias, Purveyor of "Credible" information, according to Alyce LaViolette

are you sure you didn't mean
"yes, with qualifiers"?

Yes he was a Vampire Hunter, or yes he was a Vampire? I mean, I'm trying not to die laughing either way, but I just have to know. Talk about dorky.

That's the edited version. David thoughtfully edits out the sidebars.

Yes, I understand that. I just didn't hear in the edited version that the jury never came back in, so I'd assumed for a few videos that they had come back it, but it had been edited out. I was shocked when the lawyers said something to indicate the jury was not in there. So I was asking here to make sure that I had it right. The jury wasn't in there for at least 3 or 4 of the videos in the series. That's all I was trying to verify.

She also further insinuates herself, by borrowing his car 24/7, making financial obligations to him regarding buying his car and they would need to stay in contact for that, and working IN HIS HOME when she couldn't keep her waitress jobs. By the way, there are hundreds of restaurants in Mesa, but she couldn't keep employment at any of them? I think she didn't WANT to be employed in Mesa so Travis would feel pressured to be her white knight and just let her live with him.

Juan was getting to that today....Manipulation my Dear! See what he is getting at, in more ways than one? AHhaaaaaaa. :great:

Does anyone know where Matt McCarthy is these days. What has he been up to?

I am pretty convinced this being the 10th or so Domestic Violence Expert the team attempted to hire, by this time they decided to make her "big picture" very little.

Instead of showing the person so much they ran screaming from the Jail, i saw glimpses of evidence that they did not show her much of anything, in fact a very narrow "scope" if you will.

I believe she was either told or discouraged from contacting the players in the case. Probably fed a line of bologna like "If you call them, then it opens up a whole pandora's box of that person, be it Ryan Burns, or Darryl, having to return to the stand to rebut something you talked about. Instead, here, read this, this is Jodi's diary. And this informative 90 second snippet of the Detective Flores Interrogation.

If you need anything else at all, call us first, tell us what the problem is, why you can't seem to the work with all the numerous documents we gave you. Oh, and yes, you may visit our dear Jodi. Fly down and talk to her.. Ok you are hired!

On the stand when they he asked her COULD you have called Ryan (or whatever guy) she started to say "yes but I was told..." (I'm paraphrasing..)

So her wings were clipped? I can usually spot a liar. When she answers most things the times she actually answers, she does not sound like she is lying. I think she really believes her and likes her (in a way, not in a creepy way)

The one time he went through the hypothetical and it was about finding out she was lied to .. she said something like "IF i found out I was lied to?" I saw fire in her eyes. I think she would be pretty pissed as a Witness or as a Therapist.. She sounds genuine.

She might just be as old fashioned as I think and much of this overly sexual theme was just a bit much to dive into. I don't give anyone a pass, I just try to understand them.

ALV is officially obsessed with Jodi. JM keeps asking her why she went back to talk to Jodi after she'd already formed an opinion. ALV wants more information. But she'd already formed her opinion. How could more information help? She certainly didn't get more of the "right" information, seeing as she's unaware of things JM has asked on cross.

She certainly didn't use that time wisely to corroborate Jodi's statements with real live people. Talking--you know, two people with their mouths moving, as JM explained. She fell into Jodi's trap. Same trap that Travis couldn't get himself out of. Even though Travis and ALV knew a "truth" about Jodi, they kept going back. RIP Travis for that mistake. I wish so many times in this trial that he just didn't fall for whatever story Jodi had just that ONE last time.

Drew Pinsky said in reference to ALV that the only thing worse than claiming to be a human lie detector, is being a broken human lie detector.

Quoted by Minor4th on last thread:

Juan says it's stalking and Alyce says nah, it's not.

I wouldnt really call that stalking either yet on the information Juan has presented. But let's talk about hacking into Bobby's email and confronting him and Jodi insinuating herself into Matt's dad's girlfriend's life to keep tabs on Matt after he broke up with her and got another girlfriend -- AND confronting this girl she didn't know about her relationship with Matt.. That I'd kinda call stalking

BBM:

Respectfully disagree. I would say that it certainly is establishing a pattern ... Definitely stalking behavior in my opinion. Both Bobby and Matt wanted to end it, but she kept inserting herself in their lives ... and I don't think it was welcome by either of them. JMHO

I had the exact same thoughts. The 'time out' remark made me realize....this woman is a master manipulator herself. She provokes and pushes the envelope and then immediately goes to the 'victim' role. We saw her do it within minutes with the "Are you angry with me, Mr Martinez ?" schlep.

Yes, she seems quite proud of her 'catchy titles' and snarky comebacks. For someone so concerned with being 'mischaracterized', did she ask Disney if they were OK with her mischaracterization of Snow White.
She quips that many people enjoy her presentation, yet she 'de-edifies' a fictional character that many children simply want to enjoy at her best, singing a happy tune with the dwarfs.
When ALV was typing up her catchy title, these children were not of any specific or global concern to her and one google search could scar them for life....

Oh, does that sound one-sided, do I not have all of the facts??.....hmmmmmm

I think that's a reasonable post, for sure, but isn't her recalcitrance more than a little bit of a problem? Shouldn't she at least be wiling to acknowledge that she might have been wrong? I think she seems unwilling to do that for some reason, and I'm not sure it's case-related. I don't know, though. :cow:
