"I MISS THE ANARCHARY OF THE 70'S"

That's what she just said in her presentation - I've got the genital one on in the background.

Hmmm, well I was there, and I don't remember any anarchy. Must have missed it.

Does anyone know where Matt McCarthy is these days. What has he been up to?

Is he hiding in plain sight? Or in av's book? Is he now a vampire slayer?

Is this a yes or no answer...cause I wont tell anything.

****I learned how not to say anything from the defense on this case.

I heart Juan cause he still manages to get truth and reality and justice in the courtroom no matter what the defense does.

I read on here somewhere that Bobby Juarez was dead. What happened??? does anyone know?:what:

Seriously?

Since JA says there is/was such a person, and that she hacked his email account at the Yreka public library, I doubt it.

Not the hacking part, mind you.

Just the whole existence thing.

I took the day and enjoyed a beautiful day outside, so I am way behind on watching the court proceedings.

I am watching on youtube and it seems to me that AVL is the one that fed JA the line about having sex with Travis to keep him from getting angry......WOW.

JW and Jodi really need to stop giggling sneering, and whispering together. It looks SOOOOOOOO bad for the defense. Nurmi isn't even facing them. Look at all the "nonverbal communication" at the defense table.

YES, i can't say YES strongly enough. That is such a big misstep on her part. ANY expert would say YES, but her apparently?

Especially when she is finding out little by little she does NOT know the whole story, so the natural response she should be having is "Yes of course i might be wrong if my conclusion is based on a load of bull crap.. Garbage in garbage out"

BUT she is so stubborn not to say it and in fact holds out and says nothing would change her big picture.. that stubbornness does nothing to enhance her credibility

Her stubbornness is making Juan's case for him.

I came into this trial very late. At first I could not understand why ALV was upsetting to everyone.

Today, in :cow: she was attempting to look 'witty' and in charge and instead came across as looking very much the way Juan is trying to make her out to be.

It appears to me that she let her 'expert' status go to her head and went on in to asses JA, upon seeing the frail, frump of a sex kitten, ALV made up her mind that she was a victim of domestic abuse and just dropped the ball.

I don't think there is ANYTHING in ALV's resume that would have prepared her for the thrashing she's getting from Juan. Right down to questioning if she understands what the definition of 'manipulation' and 'Old Fashioned' mean.

:floorlaugh: and Dr. Richard Samuels- aka: I cannot mark a "test" to save Jodi's soul.

Answer: Yes

She told the prosecutor that she would put him in a timeout because she couldn't answer his questions. I'm flabbergasted.

JW should have said, "Objection--I want a refund."

Man, I try not to comment on that kind of thing, but I'm with you. I have had enough of the slumber party. I keep waiting for one of them to throw their hands up in glee and giggle. And that super close nonsense of JA where she looks like she's gonna smooch JM.... oh momma, makes my skin crawl....

Yes, it is exhausting! The perfect description! :seeya:

I think ALV's combativeness truly tarnishes her credibility. Most of the questions JM asks her could easily have been answered with yes or no without tainting herself as an expert witness. By being combative and argumentative and admonishing the prosecutor, she is putting herself on the same level as Jodi, which is not good. Deciding from the git-go, as soon as cross began, that she was going to be disrespectful and combative with JM was a bad choice. She's lost her dignity in my opinion.

JM seems to address ALV and the Judge, "Ma'M."

I missed early goings, how did he address JA?

MaM is what he called JA also

  • #634
The million $ question.

He's probably chilling in Mexico somewhere.

Does anyone know where Matt McCarthy is these days. What has he been up to?

  • #635
And furthermore, I'm getting the impression that in spite of JA's proven lies, manipulation, etc., ALV remains obstinately aligned with JA because some part of ALV admires that JA eliminated one of those males ALV has spent her career battling.

JMO, IMO, MOO and all that......

I think that's a reasonable post, for sure, but isn't her recalcitrance more than a little bit of a problem? Shouldn't she at least be wiling to acknowledge that she might have been wrong? I think she seems unwilling to do that for some reason, and I'm not sure it's case-related. I don't know, though. :cow:

At this point I'm not sure if she just has a personal dislike for JM and that she has just dug her heels in and refuses to give him an inch but would rather try to take him down and expose him as an arrogant abuser (in her mind only). I'm not sure it has anything to do with Travis and JA anymore. It's just her hatred for the prosecutor and her refusal to let him get one up on her.

MOO

whoops - must of hit enter. I think they'd have a really hard time getting anyone with "name recognition". They will all see what has happened to the "old ALyce" lol

Now they got someone that was going to do it (for the money) and think she was smart enough to pull the wool over everybodys eye's but wait! Meet JM! Heck she can't even remember to bring her reading glasses up to the podium with her for days on end? Don't recall what she told them before ect. I think she gets the "real" fog of old age. I'm not being smart because I'm not young anymore but is this all they could get for their defense? Very telling! And sure she is playing the Prosecution to boot. What a mess! :banghead:

Yes, because ALV told us all that 90% of all communication is non-verbal

I didn't ask you that question. Was he a vampire, yes or no?

Do you want to spar with me? Is that what you want?

How does what the prosecutor does or doesn't believe with respect to an animated corpse who feeds on the blood of the living, or one who hunts that animated corpse, bear on your evaluation and testimony on behalf of a lying torture murderess?

:whoosh:

Truly unprofessional. She is ruining her credibility.
