Gosh I hope not for Sam's sake!

Was watching Ron goldmans sister break down in court the other day. I think the Alexander's are doing a great job

Are they just addressing ALV talking to Samantha NOW? I thought they would have done that already.

I think they did address that already. I think they might be talking to her about her crying yesterday.

I thinik this is one statement that will stay with me long after this trial is over. Totally condescending and so wrong...

I'm back from running carpool and there is the seal? What have I missed?

and I'll always remember the are you mad me and trying to make herself a victim , and I want you to talk to me like I'm talking to you... couldn't believe it. must be her way in her classes with men. Put them in their place fast.

Well we all know that Nurmi believes the jury is reading media so I'm sure he is doing his best to put out as many negative things about Juan and the "witch hunt" as he can in hopes it will sway one of the "lying jurors".

Is Nurmi calling his client a WITCH? Hmmmm....he keeps brining it up!:floorlaugh:

To those that criticize JM, I say this:

He gives a voice to those that no longer have one.
He gives a voice to those that remain who have endured pain, loss and suffering.

He may use any tone he chooses as it represents the outrage many survivors feel. I don't care if his critics like it or not.

His words empower those who feel they have none. His love of justice is palpable. He chooses to right the wrongs where possible, to the extent they can be. JMV

IMO, it's the DT stirring this up. They want a backlash cause they don't have anything else. They've been trying for misconduct since the beginning. They are manipulating the media, IMO.

Jackie DeShannon and Donna Weiss 1975

Her hair is Harlowe gold,
Her lips sweet surprise,
Her hands are never cold...

Ms. Davis was blonde in the '30s when she began her prolific film career, but her hair got darker in the '40s and beyond. I had never seen the "red sweater" photo previously but came across it while searching for a new avatar.

WildAboutTrial @WildAboutTrial

Valerie just called for Travis' sisters (not Tanisha) to come back to chambers. #JodiArias

::sigh::

I just read that, omygosh, I don't know if I could stand in the same, small room with the person (I didn't know and had never met) that had killed my brother. That would be SO difficult.

I really enjoy reading all your posts, but after
reading all the admonishments, I'll probably continue to be a lurker. I'm just too darned opinionated.

You'll be fine as long as you do not name call and make fun of anyone. I went back through my posts knowing I had called ALV a name that expressed my feelings of her feelings towards the opposite sex. ( I think my explanation does not break any rules right? Maybe Im right on that line) but anyway that post was deleted.

The number of post I have typed out only to delete after reading and seeing my anger I would probably have written well over 5000 post by now but I keep censoring myself. Wrote a post earlier about why ALV's testimony against Travis ticks me off from a personal point but deleted it before posting b/c I do not want my friend's information out there. Not adding any more fuel to that fire, never know where his exGF is a-lurking.

With all this chaos of this trial I think it's a good idea to focus on the good things.

I am grateful that Lady Justice has given us the accidental photos of Travis being butchered. It's painful but will ensure that the person who did it will sit on death row.
I am grateful that we have Juan Martinez fighting for Justice. I don't think there is a better prosecutor out there.
I am grateful that thanks to the kindness and goodness of people (many of them from Websleuths) that Travis' loved ones are receiving support in many ways.
I am grateful that we are close to rebuttal.
I am grateful for Websleuths, all those who work hard to keep it running and all the members on here. It's much easier to deal with this trial with all of you around.
.

This deserves so much more than a thanks. Thanks for bringing the positive thoughts. I, too, am grateful for all of these

About this 'gun'.

To even force yourself into believing Travis had a gun is almost an impossible feat. Why didn't anyone know about this gun? Not even his roommates (who were in potential danger with a firearm in the house) knew. Nor his best friend, Chris. And Jodi even admitted Travis didn't own a gun. The fact that she re-invented it speaks for itself.

No one is likely to keep a gun for protection (because it wasn't for fun or for hunting seeing he couldn't carry it anywhere without a permit WHICH...he didn't have) and keep it far from reach on top of some closet.

What purpose is it serving up there? That's like buying a spare tire then...leaving it in your garage. Placing it somewhere where it's not useful is fruitless. Unless of course we're to believe Travis expected to catch burglars in his closet one day!! The whole gun-the-closet theory is ridiculous.

speaking of gun....
Jodi said during the interrogation that she had just bought a gun, obviously after she murdered travis. why? did she plan on killing someone else? was it going to be used somehow in her faux story?

I just find it odd she would just go out and randomly buy a gun. Has that been verified she really did buy a gun?

I have guns. I grew up around guns. For me to go buy a new gun, which I did recently would never surprise anyone nor be out of character for me. But her....? It was so random when she asked DF what kind of gun he had on him and that she just bought one.

For me it's the old fashioned women saying "porked a 14 year old" in court. And it being a lie.

Totally agree. And I said this yesterday, but am still riled up. She made it sound like it was something that actually happened versus it being a comment over the phone - and recall on cross of Jodi she admitted that all the ridiculous stuff on the tape was purely "talk".:furious:

Filed yesterday:

4/10/2013 MOT - Motion NOTE: DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO COMPEL; JOURNALS SEIZED FROM MS. ARIAS’ JAIL CELL ON OR ABOUT APRIL 1, 2013

Gave this some thought, I wonder if they contain sketches of the jurors ?

Imo, the talking heads are aware of how impenetrable the State's case is. They've got to create controversy where there isn't any, otherwise nobody would watch. Super dumb.

Respectfully SBM...you nailed it. I have been aware of this for weeks. It's all about the ratings, folks. None of the naysayers could really believe the drivel they are spewing.JMO
