Unfortunately Ms LaViolette might be finding out now she got very little information from the Defense, putting her in an awkward situation. Furthermore I do think she seems utterly biased toward Jodi and / or an alleged abuse victim, and that may stem from decades of counseling them.
When she gives her opinions she seems very firm in them and she sounds genuine as if this is truly her belief.
Ok, putting that aside, if she really had to go to the E.R. for anxiety or anything related to the stress of testifying or media coverage or the negative press, then that is not good. She could be someones mom, sister, aunt. You would not want her to be physically ill over this. If anything at all were to happen to her (or her safety or her livelihood) everyone would feel seriously bad.
What I do want is her to take a deep breath, get back on the stand and I just want to hear honesty? I appreciate her decades of work but I just wish this wasn't the hill she chose to die on and defend. It's such an obvious case, insurmountable evidence and a not so likeable defendant.
I would just like her to say "yes" yes it is possible she is lying to me, of course it's possible. And just stay away from any comment about Travis, just don't go there. You did not meet him, you don't know him and can't know him from what you read in email. And today I was very upset to hear what almost sounded like an insinuation she concluded he was an abuser and a pervert after interviewing his friends...(going into how the Hughes worry about how he treated women)
stop it.. stick to Jodi, the killer, you interviewed. Think of how many killers come before her that she thinks are totally innocent? That's actually scary?
