The longer ALV is on the stand the harder it becomes for her to justify her opinion about the Killer. I imagine tomorrow we'll find her talking about cotton candy, puppy dog tails and The Sound of Music. (after all, the Killer has such a lovely voice)

I'm sure the roommates did know but they weren't really in his circle of friends, which seems to have been centered around PPL. Those friends that have come forward have pretty much universally said they thought he was a virgin.

Sex aside, since so many of his friends seemed to have such a negative reaction to her, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he kept his post-break up association with her secret to some extent.

I watched a show last week where a female obgyn was saying most women now are hairless or groomed down there. (not like the old days)

I would like to know more as well as know who the male friend was that called her mom to tell her JA needed help. I really wonder if TA was the one that called mom and is why mom felt the need to come down to help JA move her home so they can get her help. It just seemed like something was different about that male friend calling.

IIRC JA testified at one point that Matt M. called her parents and/or a suicide hotline after JA called him upset (I think this was at some point when she was living in Mesa - I want to say around the time she was thinking about moving back to Yreka, but don't quote me on that - just what I vaguely remember).

She couldnt be serious when she said he wasnt being honest with people about his virginity keeping it from the church, his friends, family. Seriously, when you have sex the first time do you tweet it, fb it, call all your family and friends and announce it? That had to be the most moron thing said during this trial.
That really isnt anyones business. Also, all religions I am familiar with all discourage premarital sex. Doesnt mean that every unmarried person sitting in church is a virgin.

It's not that he's keeping his virginity from the church, his friends, and family.

It's that he is announcing he's a [30 year old] virgin in his speaking engagements to everyone. And, ALV pointed out that he was also an elder in his church--he is supposed to be a virgin and maintain standards for everyone else.

This could have ruined his life if it had gotten out.

PPL and his sponsor there and the church were all very wrapped up together in his public life.

This would have all come tumbling down like a house of cards had his secret life been made public.

I have a hard time believing a few things in the sex tape/testimony.

1. Travis never masturbated before he met Jodi.
2. As a virgin and someone with no experience, Travis jumped right to anal sex.

I call BS on both of these.

He was only living a double life after he met the sexually aggressive, stalking, obsessed. lying, murdering Jodi Arias. Travis dated Mormon girls from his Ward. Their testimony was that this "dating" was not sexual--the most they did was "grind"--a far cry from the sex that Jodi introduced. SHE introduced "tossing the salad"--oral stimulation on her anus, anal sex, KY lube, . Jodi used her vagina as a means to live a parasitical existence.

I don't think he was living a double life. I think he was a young guy who was 30 and sexually active.. Not a crime.. in any state... And that he just kept it private as did the women he knew that he had been active with. It is not like Jodi was his only sex partner. I don't think he was hiding it as much as being private. AS far as I can see the more graphic sex life came AFTER meeting Jodi not before. She was the one who used sex to reel him in. She knew she could not have a guy like Travis and used her body as a way to get him and keep him. But he grew bored of her games. She realized he was not going to marry her, Love her so she killed him. And killed him with vengeance and zeal.

She wanted it to hurt.

It seems to me that too much of the questioning in court, and the debate both online and in the media is over actions and situations which never occurred at all.

If you could strip away all the allegations from the mouth of the self-confessed lying defendant then what you would have left is simple.

TA was unable to tear himself away from the unaccustomed lure of free sex. JA clung on to the notion that his interest signified something long term. When at last it became blatantly obvious to her that he was growing and moving on, she ended his life in a cold-blooded and premeditated burst of jealousy.

The so-called experts have simply muddied the water with mostly uncorroborated cr&p. The defendant lit the fire for this circus and it is now burning and feeding off itself. I am relying on JM to bring back simplicity, calmness and dignity in his closing and that the jury forgets all this fabricated hyperbole.
