one is about prosecutorial misconduct and the photos and autographs.

the other is about the DT's witnesses being tortured over the internet because of JM's misconduct.

so TWO misconduct charges and the second one involves HER and her 'torture.'

His friends stated that he did not own a gun and when they went shooting - Travis always used one of theirs.

Page one of this thread I stated abuse isn't about anger, but abusers use anger to intimidate victims to establish and maintain control.

So many of Travis' actions are either inconsistent with an abuser or even a controlling person its laughable (and honestly dangerously scary in reality) that LaViolette can amass he is an abuser from his written exchanges alone. How much control do you think an abuser would really have from a thousand mile distance?

Uh huh. Exactly. And that's why if Travis were, he'd likely have asked Jodi to move in with him in Mesa, perhaps even have proposed, within a couple of months. When she left Mesa, he very likely would have gone ballistic, at least calling her many, many times every day - finding any way he possibly could of 'checking' up on her. (5 years after I divorced my abuser, he conned his own mother into printing and mailing him a picture of my house in England to him in prison, with a sob story of how he didn't even know where 'his' kids were living.)

That's part of the pattern of an abuser. And it, in this case, is absent on Travis' part.

Intimate Partner Violence is definately Not about anger. It is about control.

Abusers can CONTROL their anger very well. Person after person as told me how the abuser can be in a raging fit but when the doorbell rings and they answer it, "No problems here, officer. We were just having a little argument and I guess it was kinda loud. Isn't that right, darling? See, everythings fine. We are so sorry you guys had to come out tonight."

Don't believe it? Then just take a look at Jodi. So calm and collected. I bet she takes those little pencils back to her cell and stabs them into the wall until they look like nail heads. When JM was cross examing ALV, did you notice how vigorously she was erasing and sweeping her paper? I did. And if I were one of her victims, that would have brought me in line just like that.

My controlling and abusive ex-husband used to pretend he didn't understand me when I was expressing myself, feelings, complaints, whatever. That's gaslighting or crazymaking behavior. This is exactly what AVL did with Juan the whole time.

Eventually I was able to realize what ex-h was doing and once I said "no one else seems to have an issue understanding what I am trying to express. It shut his mouth for a bit.

AVL was on the stand long enough for her shiny veneer to be scratched and dented, and we got to see what's underneath. And it's not pretty. It's not nice. It's guile, manipulation, control, and whatever you call it when you sell your soul for money.
