Regardless whether that Twitter acct really belongs to ALV, I hope the Twitterverse will keep in mind that the defense may be able to use the so-called "intimidation"/"harassment" of witnesses issue on appeal. Don't give them ammunition.

It seems Alyce LaViolette was presented with the majority of the facts first only to distort them later when they didn't support her turn-of-the-century stance! The only jurors who can remotely agree with her antiquated overview on this situation are those approaching the centenarian milestone.

I personally have known more women who verbally abuse their partners than men who physically abuse them. And it's not the 'secret' factor that ALV wants us to believe. There are MANY talltale signs of abuse. First being, there has to be a 'relationship' in place and there was NOT one here!

Another key or common denominator in many domestic abuse situations are the presence of either drugs, alcohol or both. I admit I didn't listen to 90% of her diatribe on Direct so I'm not sure ALV mentioned that important demographic element. Probably not because once again, it doesn't support this case.

This not only wasn't a abusive situation it wasn't a domestic anything. There was no domain, abuse nor relationship shared!!! Ugh!

This was a couple who had been broken up a year ago by that point. I want Juan to REALLY drill that into the jurors noggin.

That's why most in DV use intimate partner violence now because abuse does affect a lot of people who aren't necessarily in a domestic situation.

I do absolutely believe their relationship was indeed abusive - at least psychologically, with Jodi being the perpetrator of abuse. There's too much evidence to refute that, in my opinion, unless you're a paid expert for the defense, of course.
