I hope Juan takes a long extended vacay when this trial is over. He so deserves it.

  • #1,643
Man he's going to waste more valuable time. He's realy got a problem of not taking no for an answer! Like his defendant ya think. What are they doing now?

  • #1,644
I thought Wayne Gretzky was the "Great One"? I will change my opinion on that one and give it to the JUAN and ONLY.

  • #1,645
Wow this is getting very personal.

Nurmi has made this personal since the beginning. He constantly digs on Juan and Juan gets tired of it and fires back.

  • #1,646
How many times has Nurmi tried to get Juan off this case???
Read the minutes - MANY He knows he's not even in the same league as Juan.

  • #1,647
Can you really blame Nurmi? He's done the bare minimum, throwing temper tantrums and trashing a victim for months and is getting paid thousands and thousands of dollars at the expense of Arizona taxpayers.... of course he wants a mistrial. He knows his client is going to be convicted so he wants to do this again and get paid all over again and drag this out.

I agree with your points but I think he's jonesing for a mistrial so he won't have a conviction on his record. (Thinking he will get himself removed from the case if it has another go-round). IMHO of course.

Yay. No mistrial.
And another request because poor Samuels and LAV.....intimidated? Aw....they make me ill. They shouldn't have lied, in my opinion. Nurmi, you are losing. Get over it and move on.

Juan called it. totally called it.

This frivolousness has wasted an entire morning of Court. If I was a juror and had known about this I'd be pissed!! Not cool.

Juan attacked someone during testimony? :floorlaugh: So now speaking firmly is attacking?:banghead: How are any of us able to function with the nonstop abuse in all of our lives?

Then Juan says (he's wasn't afraid of the bite in the dog) because maybe he "saw a Mexican chihuahua". hahahaha I love it! I love lawyer bickering.

I called it yesterday!!!

I don't think Nurmi knows what he's asking for here.

1. Tears in his eyes. Why would TA be crying, hmm?
2. Shows standing, pictures taken at chest height. Not kneeling as previously testified.
3. Show the closeup of the eyes of a victim, in his last moments. You will lose a holdout on your jury, Nurmi. They will feel compassion for TA like you didn't believe possible.
4. It will reek of desperation and show that you're grasping.
5. They will probably 'Jesus toast' a knife or gun in that drawing.
6. Juan will make you look a fool.

Newsflash for Ms. Laviolette:

YOU were just as combative as the prosecutor, actually--you were much more disrespectful, patronizing and condescending than any other witness I've seen.

This is going to be good....

I'm so happy watching the Defense crumble.

I wonder if LV help set up this 'Juan is abusing' witnesses argument. Makes me wonder if this is her revenge.

I hope they play the bit with LaV telling Mr Martinez he needs a time out in her worldl.
