I'm so confused! There is no way to tell and I've always thought she got him to sit down because of her gun or whatever.

Right, which is why I can't understand why Juan would agree to this announcement.

  • #722
How did Juan ever agree to that ?

because he believes it and he doesn't feel it hampers his case at all.

Knife could have been on sink counter, etc. Juan is a pro and wouldn't agree to it if it hurt his case even .000000001%.

I think rebuttal begins tomorrow!!!! Yay!!!!
We may have a verdict by next week. Cool.

So JM stipulated what the DT wanted him to: no gun or knife in JA's hand when she took the final photo of Travis' terrified face.

I'm not understanding the point of this? After she took the pic, she dropped the camera & started the murderous attack, so what does it matter? HMMMM...
that's it...it doesn't matter....Juan will do his job with this, don't worry. I am guessing that he didn't want to waist anymore time by going to this eye guy's lab with the jurors.....so let the DT have this one....they aint got nothing else!

Oh for pete's sake! I've wasted months on HLN, and it has drove me crazy. I also have a 46" TV with Wifi, and I watch Youtube videos with my almost 3 year old granddaughter all the time. It never, ever crossed my mind that I could watch the trial that way. I'm going to get it going right now. Can somebody tell me the best site to watch from?

Best way...HDMI cord....but your computer needs to have an hdmi output.

But she still has the gall to star down the jury....evil eyes.

This can't be making her friends. Why doesn't Wilmott tell her to knock it off.

I dunno, Shady. When they were ending court today, it looked like JW and KN were watching the jury exit, and JA actually stepped behind JW to look in a completely different direction--either toward the prosecution table or toward Travis's family, or...?

Look at JA..she is OVER showing any respect for the jury. First chance she gets she's smiling and chatting with what she thinks is her bff. Willmott will drop her when this trial is over.

J Baez dropped whatshername in Florida, but Chaney basement is still with the thing.

Of course, Juan could still argue she had a weapon in her waistband.... but this worries me folks.

It's not an issue IMO. Not at all. I never believed she was holding a gun during that photo.

I think when she was on her knees next to the bathtub "looking at the pictures" (as she demonstrated during her orange jump suit interrogation), that she was getting her weapons out of her backpack or from being taped to her leg or wherever she was keeping them.

This was just a HUGE WASTE (remember that phrase) of the jury's time, once again.

That was first photo, not final. Right?

the one of him sitting is the last alive photo. she may have had a weapon then. i just don't remember how much time elapsed between the close up and the sitting photo and the ceiling shot. but at SOME point, we KNOW she got a weapon.

this didn't prove anything at all.

ITA!

I've got my computer connected to my 46" TV via HDMI cable so that I can watch the live feed without the HLN nonsense, and while waiting for the trial to resume in one browser window I can stay busy with other things (i.e. WS) in another browser window.

When I hear the door close I switch back to the trial and can watch in fullscreen.

It's the best way to go.

Me too, I have the same setup.

So no jury today, I'm on HLN...they won't get caught up till later tonight anyway. Paused...you won't miss a thing. ;)

  • #734
Well, Juan may be comfortable with this stipulation, but I'm not. How the hell could they tell from that picture whether she was or was not holding a weapon???

  • #736
I can imagine Juan asking a question like: OK let's just cut to the chase, what is all this about, what are you wanting to prove? Fine. Judge, can the prosecution just concede to that so we don't have to waste the court and the juries valuable time any more than necessary? Good, we'll concede. Now let's move on.

  • #737
No. Not with the stipulation they just made. It's over.

The eye guy isn't going to testify? I missed it was gone. I bet nurmis In a foul mood. I've caught him cursing under his breath a few times.
