It's a fact! I live a few miles from a very large retirement community here in Florida. They are infamous for having a high rate of STDs. Oh grandma! And your grandbabies thought you were out playing shuffleboard...lolz.

I live in a retirement community, too, but mine is sedate in comparison.

I actually asked the assisted care place what was their take on the STD issue and if they have controls in place so we could rest assured that my grandmother wouldn't be jumped some some old pervert.

We still wonder if my grandmother initiated stuff because her filter was severely diminished as she got older...she would talk openly about sex, swear alot, etc.

With these reports, I wonder if there are alot of older people that don't even realize what they are doing - i.e., dementia, AZ patients just acting out things in their libido...?

Can the defense change their plea at this late date? Or is it Self defense if Murder1 and crime of passion if murder 2 or manslaughter? I am confused.

It's not a plea, it's a request that lesser charges be included in the jury instructions, so that the jury has the option of convicting on a lower charge.
