I understand. But, like the chick on HNL just said. No appeals. :scared:

It really doesn't, imo. Because the evidence (gas cans, hair color, auto, gun stolen) all point to the killing being premeditated. A crime of passion needs to happen quickly after whatever caused the other person to be enraged. For example: I find my boyfriend in bed with someone else and grab a vase and break it over his head.

let them try to change the story..again... its only going to result in more unsympathetic jury questions in the basket...

So many changes, many I forgot, missed, or just didn't pick up on. I was trying to find something Samuels had said, and I also came across the supposed "pictures of breasts on TA's computer" that JA told him about, also about JA shooting TA in the closet, then he changed to "in or near" but more importantly around the 8:20 mark, Samuels includes that JA said she didn't even remember the gun going off. And what really ticks me off is seen in Part 1 of these youtubes, is watching the Jurors sent out because something is about to be shown via video or discussed, but the judge concedes to JW's Objection that it would be "too prejudicial" for the Jurors to see, including such important items as JA's own words to Det Flores after she admits that it was her. Why is that too prejudicial...yet her words about such things as TA being a Ped is not. IMHO most all the rulings by the judge are one-sided or largely slanted in favor of the Def...I just don't understand

In case its ever needed re: JA saying she didn't recall the gun firing. I guess the Fog had begun when that "Unloaded" gun was used in her Fable
[[ at 8:20 Samuels says JA said shot in closet but does not remember the gun going off, firing all this w/o the jury present ]]]

Good morning/afternoon peeps! Got my laptop, giant cup of coffee, smokes (I know bad, this trial stresses me out). Hidden away in spare bedroom, since fiancee is back in town & makes fun of me when I watch the trial.
I see we are starting on time again today!

Boy oh boy, when this trial is over, I sure am going to miss sitting here staring at the AZ Seal. Not!

I'm going to have to have a framed seal poster to hang over my mantle. We've spent so much time together at this point....I can't just say goodbye. I'm not that kind of a girl.

Went to lunch, kept trying to get azcentral up on my phone but it wasn't working. I was all worried I was missing something so I rush back... to a seal. I should know better by now. :sigh:

I just wanted to say one thing about ALV since a lot of people were talking about her. I don't think she is in my opinion a true expert on domestic violence. I think of her more as an advocate. She has been doing this job for over 35 years and I think she can no longer be an objective evaluator. Her ideas are dated and she is used to telling people things to an audience and not being challenged on her ideas. With her testifying in this case, she was challenged and let's face it, being biased for Jodi Arias. In her own words, she was looking for domestic abuse no matter how small or nonexistent.

Being an advocate isn't a bad thing, I think just think she shouldn't have testified based on a lie. A lie she wanted to believe.

That would interfere with watching....I can see the dust bunnies on the fans

:floorlaugh: You're a person after my own heart!

Wildabouttrial: I believe they are discussing the use of knooters for all counsel and witnesses back in chambers. I could be wrong though. #JodiArias

What's a knooter?

knee+scooter - WAT has some kind of injury and has to use it

Anyone know what time 0930 court starts?

While we wait: Following Dr. DeMarte's testimony, does anyone think that Jodi's mother/family were relieved to finally have an explanation for their daughter's erratic behaviors? I couldn't help thinking that they probably always wondered what was wrong with Jodi and that they know now how disturbed she really is. :moo:

No. I think if they truly wanted to know they would have sought out counselling for themselves and would have received an explanation then.

To anyone who cares, here are links to research showing that graphology is baseless pseudoscience:
Journals:
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0191886987900456
http://www.amsciepub.com/doi/abs/10.2466/pr0.105.F.1255-1268?journalCode=pr0
Summary article with refs:
http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/grapho.html

If anyone wants more sources, there is plenty of more info out there and I'll help you find them if need be.

And again, I have not found any info to support the assertion that the FBI uses graphology in their investigations.

Quackwatch is quack himself....his own stuff does not hold water. Anything with "watch" in the title is not going to be unslanted. That being said handwriting analysis gets lumped with graphology...the latter isn't used by the FBI and the two are very different. It may not be officially accepted (and easy to see why) but to me at least I find it very interesting as a knowledge base.

BBM~ I agree. It's not that difficult. Mind you I work in IT so maybe that's why.

Take compressed air and blow out that fan.

If it's not spinning as new, may require replacement...

I've recovered data from dying HDD's by using re-freezable cooler packs and fans, getting them to spin long enough to transfer data.

What LE did to recover deleted images from Travis's micro-SD card is routine and can be done for free.

Boy oh boy, when this trial is over, I sure am going to miss sitting here staring at the AZ Seal. Not!

I had the tee vee on when one of my kids was home on spring break. He saw the seal and exclaimed "Hey, I have that in my Fake ID"! :floorlaugh:
