Actually, the 119 is an average of what was it five areas ? Her highest report was 136 for words and comprehension of them. The average of 119 tells me there were some areas quite low on the rating score to reach this average. She is bright about some things, but not so much about other things. It is the other things that concern me.

It is not bright to steal a gun, and it gets reported stolen, and one is dumb enough to still use it in a murder of someone one is known to associate with - not bright at all. It's not bright to make up lie after lie after lie to cover one's backside and to invent slander after slander to protect oneself. Jodi is not bright IMO, she just believes she is because her brain is indeed scrambled.

I respectfully disagree. Talking about intelligence (IQ) versus morals and ethics are entirely different things.
A score in any area of 136 by a proctored standardized and approved IQ test would enable her to gain entry into MENSA.
I'm not saying I like JA but she is bright. Just bright enough to get her in trouble.

Low-budget perp, low-budget undoing. Seems poetic.

Morning all,
I wonder if jm will revisit the closet lie any further during rebuttal?

droid
Depends on the outcome of the defense's motion to prevent the jury from hearing about/seeing the closet demonstration that Detective Flores oversaw at Travis's former home proving that the shelf wouldn't support Jodi's weight without flipping over. This would completely destroy her lie about getting the gun from the top shelf in the closet and much of the other "memories" that followed.

If Jodi had gotten to Mexico or Canada, it would have saved her from DP being an option. Maybe that was her ultimate reason for trying to flee. They do not extradite with DP on the table.

I don't know how with a rental car, packed with 2 knives and gun under the hood. Huge chances of not getting caught, Mexican prison would have been a good place for Jodi to land for awhile.

Masterful as always!

He really "handled" Jodi well, so to speak...

It can't be easy to cross examine a psychopath and I think he did a remarkable job of trapping her in her own sick stories

Don't worry friend. This just means the juror wanted to hear aloud what they were likely guessing that there is NO WAY in the world, Jodi did not understand that the Law of Chastity included any kind of sexual contact. Deanna confirmed that indeed, the words used are always "ANY SEXUAL CONTACT".
Thank You!

Why did Jodi have that weird smile on her face when Napolean was mentioned? It seemed like she was like, ah, you got stuck with him- because we know Arias is not an animal lover and kicks dogs.

Oh One other clarification please,

The hearing this morning, I thought I heard yesterday that it was a motion to preclude the last 3 witnesses that JM has for rebuttle...true?

Stay away from sharp objects for a couple of days.

LOL! For sure!!! If I start doing head stands in my office and singing/giggling to myself, I will get REALLY worried!!

If copying and pasting that is gonna get me in trouble, I will delete that post asap.

Now how am I supposed to post a flag when you don't say which province? :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Not sure why it would be humiliating, I guess I look at it differently. If one of my children had said something like that to me, they wouldn't have said it a second time.

See IMO JA's mother let JA get away with everything, even disrespecting her. What mother allows a teenager to disrespect her like that? I don't understand that at all. ???

:floorlaugh: NB! The best one!

I think that JA was, from childhood, a different breed of cat and that her folks just had no real clue what to do with her.

I read somewhere that Lisa had her own stalker - a guy suspected of slashing the tires.

Many friends suspected that Jodi slashed Lisa's tires when she did the same to Tavis' tires.

I do wonder about whether or not Nurmi and JW will say anything about Jodi lying on the stand in the their closing statement.

The # of words spoken about that will be equal to the # of questions the DT had for Walmart.

What we will likely hear is more lies to try to justify those that have already been exposed.

Anyone know if we will hear from the restaurant manager that failed to do anything about the bloody finger?

Does the jury know that a gun was stolen from her grandparents home a couple of weeks prior to TA's death?

The prosecution has such a good case without the demonstration. Just what if the shelves didnt tip and it would end up being like the glove that didnt fit? It could ruin the whole prosecution theory. Not even sure I would take that chance.

MENSA wouldn't accept Jodi as a member on the basis of her 136 Verbal Comprehensive Index (VCI) alone. Individuals who take the WAIS test (the one administered by Dr. DeMarte) need a total FSIQ (full scale IQ) score of 130 to qualify for MENSA membership. DD has been a member of Mensa since the age of 6. Mensa members must have overall IQ scores at or above the 98%ile. Depending on which test is submitted for membership in the high-IQ society, most members have an IQ of 130+. An average IQ score of 119 would not qualify Jodi for Mensa membership.

Jodi would need an overall IQ score of 130 on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale that was used by Dr. DeMarte to quality for Mensa. JA's IQ is 119.

Wechsler Adult and Children Scales
(WAIS, WAIS-R, WAIS-III, WAIS-IV;
WISC, WISC-R, WISC-III, WISC-IV;
WPPSI™, WPPSI-III)
Note: The WISC-IV and the WAIS-IV must be given in their entirety.
American Mensa does not accept the General Ability Index (GAI).
All subtests must be given in order for results to be acceptable for membership. FSIQ 130

Skew: Mathematics. Neither parallel nor intersecting. Used of straight lines in space.

So the straight up and down lines would be skew or bar code. She was not 100% incorrect. I suppose the SKU is the actual number. The straight lines would be skew or what we call bar codes that they scan off the item at the register.

They are parallel. Otherwise they would be dots, but they are not.....they are parallel lines.
