I love this blog, so funny!

Deanna Reed, close friend and former girlfriend of Travis, testified that in the seven years she was in a relationship with him, he was never once abusive in any way. So naturally, charming prince Heavy D Nurmi took the opportunity to ask all kinds of graphic questions about their sex life, and generally skeeve everyone the hell out.

And now to get the par-tay started:

Prince charming Heavy D

No third party IMO. JA is stronger than she looks (maybe not now but back then). She had taken some martial arts classes as well. Plus the floor was wet, easy to drag on a wet floor. She was probably physically exhausted afterwards though.JMO:seeya:

Yeah, also she was at risk of getting caught so of course she would have found the strength to move him. Also what gets me are her HUGE HANDS...when I see those manly hands, I have no doubt she had the strength to do it.

Who pays the taxes on that art Jodi sells?

Yes. Those straight lines in the bar code are referred to as skewed lines. lllllllllllllllll This is a skewed line. SKU refers to the stock number as you said but the straight lines in the bar code are often a skewed recording system so that a scanner can read it. So her spelling skew was not incorrect for what she may have been referring to. Hey, we have to give this one to her. lol

I did not know that. Thanks! I too would have been hung up on SKU and skew, knowing the difference between the two -- but of course, I did not bother to research the possible definitions of "skew" that might include referring to those lines in this instance.

I consider Jodi to be above average with exceptional verbal skills as indicated on the WAIS that was administered by Dr. DeMarte. If her school/s offered special programming for gifted/talented students, Jodi might have qualified based on her outstanding verbal ability and possibly her creativity as indicated in her art work.

I taught high school English and easily recognized that Jodi has a large vocabulary and likes to express herself verbally and in her prolific writings. She wouldn't have liked me as her teacher because I find her rambling writings to be hyperbolic and just plain verbose. If she had an English teacher who attempted to guide her talent - I would have definitely suggested a much more economical use of words - Jodi probably thought that she knew better and didn't need anyone's assistance. :moo:

Thank you. And thank you for your service and time as a teacher.

Its REALLY not that hard to do, especially if the floor is soaked with water and blood.......

In other words, no, I don't believe that there was anyone else involved.

IMHO no, no 3rd person. JA would have thrown that 3rd person under the bus so fast.

Also, never underestimate adrenalin.

Who out there thinks it was JA who tried to access TA's laptop at 4 pm on June 4, only to be "locked out" because she didn't know his new password?!? She looked quite interested in that line of questioning with the computer expert yesterday. Perhaps THIS expert was not the one who assessed that... :twocents:

Yes, imo Jodi's upper body strength & general fitness in 2008 (plus the adrenalin of that moment)made her dragging TA well within the realm of believability.

She performed that (2008) handstand seemingly effortlessly and (yuck hate to say this) gracefully mounted then dismounted from the position...strength and agility there.

As much as Nurmi went way too far with regards to the Travis' alleged sexual deviancy,
Nurmi is doing his job to the best of his ability. He did not sign up for this. He had no choice to take on this case. moo

He is jealous of JM. This is a contest in his mind that he is loosing. He brought up Travis' childhood and his parents because he is as spiteful as jodi. He needs to get a rise out of others with his cruelty when he feels inadaquate. Thats how people like him operate. IMO A nickel a dozen. The price went down.

:seeya: Good Morning Y'All !

I am catching up from yesterday afternoon's sessions that I missed ...

And OMG ... :furious: Nurmi was totally and completely out of line with Deanna !

I think Deanna did a great job, considering how RUDE and CRUDE Nurmi was to her !

 Jodi's behavior was as "bizarre" as usual ... did you see her use the "golf pencil" as an "eyebrow liner"

:floorlaugh: Oh well, if we ever "get in a jam" and don't have an "eyebrow pencil" handy, it's good to know that a "golf pencil" will work ... LOL !

Back to catching up !

:drumroll:

:seeya:

Deanna was awesome. She showed the real Travis and how he treated women respectfully. She showed how a real relationship works between a good man and a good woman. She proved just how rotten Jodi Arias is.

Yes…and TRUST ME, you don't want to know!!! Google if you must, but don't say you weren't warned. No one here at WS is going to tell you (and remain a member).

Nothing came up on google for me but I checked urban dictionary. Nothing for "cork the pot" but if it's anything like "cork the apple", I understand what you mean.

Huh...I have a different take on Jodi's verbal intelligence....I was re-watching a couple of her days on cross with Juan, noticed that when she let her "smart lawyer" guard down for a mnute we would see the REAL JODI - quotes: "he's full of crap" referring to Ryan Burns, and my favorite "well when you have **** on your face..."

As far as we know, there hasn't been a decision on including the manslaughter/heat of passion among the charges for the jury to consider. Hopefully it gets shot down.

I hope it is not but I think we should assume that the manslaughter and surrebuttal will be allowed. It changes nothing! This very smart jury will convict JA of first degree murder. In fact, it will be a nice, big FU to JA if the manslaughter is added in and the jury still comes back with a murder one verdict. I'm very optimistic. With Justice and JM working together how can we not have a guilty of murder in the first degree verdict? :drumroll:

Somehow, I always imagined you as an English/Literature teacher.

If someone else was involved she would have already thrown them under the bus and accused them of forcing her to assist.

weird, I didn't find anything but things related to plants and pots..... Google is not my friend today.... and there isn't anything in the urban dictionary either ????

It's an anal sex reference. I will leave it at that...

If "cork the pot" was in a TA email to Jodi, it may have been his inexperienced sex-talky version of taking a virgin's "cherry" - as in "popping the cork" on an unopened bottle of champagne. The old-fashioned ALV may have misremembered popping the cork as corking the pot. Just guessing tho.
The Urban Dictionary is my go-to source for unfamiliar pop culture and/or sexual phrases/slang/jargon. Couldn't find any reference to "corking the pot" on the UD, so it's possible that either ALV, Nurmi or both misspoke. When ALV testified, I thought she said "porking" not corking.
