I was a bit worried about the Jury question to Deanna Reed asking if the Laws of Chastity were widely known?? What does this have to do with the murder of Travis??

there was money involved when she was beaten or choked. I hope they did catch her stealing Travis' money, just makes that death sentence easier to choose for the jury.

There was a check to Travis about this same time IIRC that Jodi gave him to for repay airfare.

I've moved funds into my sister's bank account before from ours at BOA, so I know it can be done. Maybe she was caught doing that?

I wonder how many times registers came short or tips were missing from tables in other waitresses stations?

Yesterday listening to the Detective that did the forensic's on Travis's computer, he made mention of the last time the computer had any activity was at 16hundred hours, which was 4 pm. Does anyone have that on video?

Reason I am bringing this up. I play games sometimes, and this game I use to play, you had to grow things at night and grow things during the day, and instead of waiting, we would just change the time, so If I needed pm, I'd change it to pm, and then change it back when I was done.

Would there be a trail of someone doing this, changing the computer clock?

Could JA have changed the clock on the computer and played those youtube Video's in the pm..and Travis really wasn't awake at 4 am?

Something else has been bugging me. I watched JA's mother's interview with Det Flores again. She said that JA was always telling her that she should read more books and 'better' herself (not said in a loving way, I am sure) That was so condesending and mean.

Can you imagine just what those poor parents went through trying to raise JA with her attitudes and behaviours. I was upset by mom's behaviour in court but I really feel such sympathy for the parents. JA bullied them and probably made that household miserable..

Meanwhile, as LE surveilled the house of JA's grandparents who shows up but the mother. And where did LE find .25 ammunition? At the mother's house.

IMO the mother was an enabler to an out of control, lying, psychopath who would have helped her escape the arms of LE if she could. As well, if the mother was so concerned with the behaviour of a young JA, she should have sought treatment for her. The father on the other hand - I'm not sure about. It looks like he just went along with the mother's dictates.

I don't feel sorry for JA's mother at all. Why did she have .25 ammo in HER house when she had no .25 gun? What was she doing at the grandmothers house - helping JA pack to escape to Mexico or some other country?

If she went in high school it was before 911. Not sure you needed a passport to travel to Costa Rica then?

There would be some official record, right? Even prior to 911 the access between countries was regulated. That's the whole point of having country boundaries. Different regulations, rules, governments and constitutions.

I woke up with a big fat cold sore this morning...my first thought was "Damn I look like Jodi Arias"!!!

Someone posted the video highlights of JM confronting Jodi about the lie that she returned the gas can to the Salinas Walmart and proof that she filled the rental car and three gas cans in SLC. This occurred during the "cold sore" phase of Jodi's testimony and I swear it looked like it got bigger as Juan's continued his cross!

OMG, I looked up at the TV and AJ Clemente (the guy who was fired this week by a North Dakota TV station for cursing during his first on air appearance) is sporting a HUGE COLD SORE on his upper lip. Stress induced NO DOUBT.

Jean Cesaras said that although she is a seasoned lawyer and been in hundreds of trials in her work, when she was called to the stand, she felt a bit nervous and the seriousness of the death penalty case was very real and present. So, imagine the young girl.

She isn't a young girl at thirty something but yes she likely isn't often in a courtroom much less testifying in a televised trial. It was wrong IMO for Nurmi to go through his Travis bashing routine for the hundredth time with her. It is telling that in over 82,000 recorded exchanged between Travis and Jodi, Nurmi had a handful of insulting names Travis used in about 3 exchanges!

I am SO glad that JA's true character is being revealed for the world to see. This high school drop out who uses words like de-edify, who can't take a good photo or draw a decent picture if her life depended on those things, who was anything but a dedicated employee, who sucked the resources out of others, who tries to slander others, who has butchered the life out of a beautiful boy,
who is evilness incarnate, who is a waste of space in this world...I am so glad everyone now knows who she is! So much for a person who claims to have cared about her reputation! The joke is on her!

Unfortunately, I think Jodi is an "I don't care what you say about me as long as you spell my name right" kinda gal. She might even prefer infamy over plain ole "famy".

Because Jodie is claiming that Travis had "his version" of living the Mormon way. She said he told her that anal and oral sex were ok, but vaginal sex was not.

She stated he gave her The Book of Mormon, and she read it "cover to cover", but she believed Travis over The Book of Mormon when it came to sex. :facepalm:

It was me, I caught it really fast and last night I went on youtube to find the moment. It looks like she was but she was scratching with the same hand her pencil in it. On Youtube its day 51, part 2. 46 mins in. I had to watch it a few times, but when I watched it live it looked like she was coloring in her eyebrows.

HAHA! I noticed that too...I sure hope mine doesn't get that big. I bought some medication to try to prevent that.

IIRC US citizens needed ID but not official passports until a few years post 9/11 to cross into Mexico and Canada. I think a passport would be needed in any other country even PRE 9/11

Earlier I posted a screen shot of Victor Arias being an exchange student. If JA went to Costa Rica it stands to reason that her high school would have that information because it had Victor's exchange student info.

Don't worry friend. This just means the juror wanted to hear aloud what they were likely guessing that there is NO WAY in the world, Jodi did not understand that the Law of Chastity included any kind of sexual contact. Deanna confirmed that indeed, the words used are always "ANY SEXUAL CONTACT".

It just confirmed another lie Jodi looked at the jury and told.

The problem I am having with the alternate return theories is that she had just purchased it that day and clearly HAD the receipt in her possession. Why would anyone who has the receipt chose not to show it, but lets say she did - then the gas can would have the sku number on and it would show in that stack of paperwork the worker brought to court. Ok so take it one step further and say there was no sku number on gas can, the employee would have to have someone go get another gas can just like it from the shelves and use THAT sku number which would then show up in the paperwork. If we take it one step further and say they used a dummy sku because they were too lazy to do the above then how would they know much to give her back? One thing is for sure the employee is not going to hand over any money without putting it in the system -- they know they would come up short.

The only theory that could have some validity to it would be if she returned it to a different walmart and didnt provide the receipt -- but that doesnt make much sense either as she wasnt in her home town to know of other stores and according to Jodi on the stand she returned it the same walmart.

LOL…Not laughing at you, just seeing you do something I find myself doing sometimes. I'll spend hours trying to figure out something about this case, then it dawns on me that my whole premise is based on something "JODI SAID!" :doh:
