Arizona attic = pizza oven. How many people do you know who store Christmas items (like candles and aerosol cans of fake snow) in the stove? Yep. Makes as much sense as gun-tot'n Mormon ninjas. :floorlaugh:

My birthday is May 6th, who's coming to celebrate?! Woohoo!

My grand daughters birthday is that day too. She will be one. Can we celebrate with you?

So they are in chambers still?

  • #2,324
We have them here in Texas, too-in fact there was one in the light fixture over my kitchen sink-must have come down from the attic.

:thud:

How do you cope? Finding that would give me PTSD!

LOL! They are no worse than a spider or a little lizard...My cats are great at catching and killing them when they sneak in.

OK...speaking of the jury.

Do we know how those who will actually deliberate are chosen?

Is it a number draw? (that would be best, IMO!)

Does the defense get to pick who they want?

It doesn't seem fair that if they get to pick, they have watched all of them for all this time!
It's a lottery system, but I don't know exactly when they find out who will deliberate.

After what Nurmi did yesterday to Deanna, no amount of verbal pummeling can be enough!

Moo

Verbal pummeling of Nurmi, I understand. But dragging all defense attorneys and their chosen careers seems a bit too much for me.

Tonight's Bold Accusation: Ummmm. Ya, we ran out of stuff because this has gone on so long.

:floorlaugh:

I noticed a few times they have the same "jurors" back time and time again.
I watched it the first few times but it's really bad. It's even worse when they show people on the video screen and it looks like they are reading from giant cue cards.

No one knows how the 12 jurors are actually chosen?

Someone needs to find out! LOL!!

I read that it's done like a lottery, juror numbers are put into a basket and the 1st 12 numbers to be drawn from the basket are the sitting jurors. The ones left over are the alternates.

Hey guys :seeya:

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi...I miss posting with y'all. Unfortunately, I had to get my butt back to work and can't watch via live stream...have to follow along with HLN on surround so I can hear testimony while I paint, LOL.

My heart broke for Deanna yesterday :(

And those photos on the Helio of Jodi's changed hair color are a nice little bonus...thanks, Juan!

Justice for Travis!

If you look closely at the seal you can see someone standing there with hands on hips, they look like they are tired of waiting. #JodiArias

Here's an article with probably more information than you wanted. ;) But the answer is that there are multiple sizes.

Btw I asked AZlawyer about the holding cells in the court. I wanted to know where JA would be. There's lots of details here. Thanks again AZlawyer

How come? Imo they seemed logical and very important. Sounded to me like they don't believe TA had a gun. Jmo.
:twocents:

Too much inquiring about the gun. It's like someone on the jury really believes there was a gun there, and that juror asked several question with intention of getting the answer they wanted -- ie, some type of evidence, no matter how small, that Travis owned a gun r had access to one. Also that question regarding Jodi's combined height, from the feet to the tip of the fingers. That question struck me as desperation on the part of a innocent-leaning juror who was looking for a way out of this closet shelf testimony. I'm telling you, there is someone on that jury who believes her.

Sometimes I think questions like that are said for other juror members to hear, just in case they forgot.

Yes, just like when I'm working with different parties at my job. I will reiterate, just to make sure we all agree. It's good to emphasize so there are no grey areas in the jury's collective understanding. Cut and dried, I like it.
