I'm afraid of that one. I see it being very divisive for a number of reason. So I'm sure I'll find a nice sane murder trial to become addicted to.

On a happy note, the desk top is fired up. I have my lap top going just in case the hamster dies on the desk top, and my cold pizza is warming nicely on top of the lap top. Diet Coke? Check. Dog has been drained and fed, phone off the hook.........................Let's Go!

Draining the dog, love it, gotta remember that one. How long does your's stay drained? Mine inevitably interrupts at the worst possible moment...'course he's still a puppy (the other two are adults) and can't hold it as long. Happily, he was just snipped and can't play or take walks for the next two weeks...covering me for the verdict watch.

Sorry o/t again, but I am antsy this a.m. Let's rock and roll...

OMG saw your post on the last thread about Baez and couldn't respond to it, thought I was in a TO

Baez said he's in constant contact with this DT? Figures! :floorlaugh:

Are you saying Baez is in contact with this defense team?

I am seriously considering taking the following Monday off of work. I did this for the CA verdict. Nerd, I know. But since we can't predict how long they'll deliberate, I don't know what day to take - Monday or Tuesday... Wednesday? Hmmm....

could come in quick....they don't have all the sidebars or chambers or whatever drama the DT presents daily.....:seeya::scared:

There is no way I'm missing a moment during verdict watch. I want to watch the verdict being read out in real time. During the jury's working hours I will be by my computer all day. It would be a shame to have followed this trial all the way to the end only to miss the verdict being read out!

my last thoughts last night before i passed out were: "we the jury find jodi ann arias guilty" and i slept like a baby

When JM was questioning Flores about the shelves he asked him what happened when he pressed his hand on the shelf and "this is what happened" and was showing a photograph. But the cameras never showed this photo. Is this photo available anywhere online?

This is the shelf

Is there anyone to plans to retire from this seemingly full time job of following a trial? I know this is my last one. For real.

What if Juan Martinez has another one? We've made a serious commitment to Mr. Martinez, Rose--you know you would be there!!:floorlaugh:
Juanettes keep their promises!

I missed much of yesterday, who was the woman with the muscular arms? I know she wasn't the ex or the walmart lady.

Tesoro Gas Station IT Manager who verified 3 gas purchases!!!!

She was from Tesoro. She made me giggle, when she said, "We sell gas, at gas stations." :giggle:

I just finished listening to the jury questions and KN's follow up from yesterday....mark my words....he will try to explain away the shelves being intact by saying it's possible that JA cleaned up in there and put it back during her "fog"....you know, to try to cover up that she was ever there to support v1.

When Jodi claimed she jumped up to that very high far corner of the shelf to retrieve Travis gun, that was her total undoing.

First, the jury realizes Travis never had a gun because he would have had box of shells, a gun cleaning kit, and a holster (think jodi even claimed this too).

Secondly, every juror is looking at that tall shelf in the picture and realizes how hard it would be to get up there especially with someone chasing them and they realize she probably would not have had the time to make it up to that spot the way she claims.

Thirdly, the shelves were not disturbed and in a rush like she claimed something would likely have been moved.

Fourthly, the shelves may not have even supported her weight if she jumped up on them in a hurry.

Fifthly, and most importantly the coincidence of the .25 being stolen at Grams and that matched the shell casing on floor.

So in summary, it all comes down to this story is just not believable to common sense. This is critical because the jury realizes Jodi lied to them directly. This means she probably lied about other things too.

IMO, I feel this part of her testimony was a critical part in her undoing. She went way too far in her lies and this part is a perfect example.

ETA: Added the 5th most important reason above.

How are people following the Sneiderman trial--will it be live steamed or do I have to watch HLN?

Andrea's boss's trial (Hemy Neuman) was streamed by some local channels, so I am guessing it will go that way again. But I think Andrea might be an even bigger draw (audience wise) than the actual triggerman. I am local, so I stay on top of this stuff.

JA's plan to move to France with her lover made me giggle. Does she expect to live on Paris's Left Bank where she can sell her "art"? One of life's little ironies: the word "cliche" is French.

Reminds me of KC wanting a baby with an Irish accent.

On that note, wouldn't it be cool to see Jeff Ashton pitch in on the Travon Martin case?? I know he is the big boss man now, but he could make an appearance for all his fans!!!!

She was the IT manager for Tesoro, the gas stations that JA purchased from..

Not me. Said it many a time. I resigned to the fact there is no point in me saying it anymore. Will sure miss ya but totally understand.

Ok, a question for the veteran trial watchers..lets say the jury comes back with a guilty verdict on Friday, how long until they start to decide on life or death? Is it right after? Hope someone can answer, Thanks!
