From previous thread, Whack A Mole (post 1424) said:

HIPPA wouldn't stop the release of her info if SHE allowed it. And you can bet if there was anything in her records she'd release it. There is no way she was pregnant. They've accused poor Travis of everything but sex with the dog. They've totally trashed his life and lied about his death. But I'm confident it's all going to come back and bite her in the fanny in closing arguments.

Love your screen name WAM.

I completely agree with ALL you said here! If JA wanted to prove she was pregnant, she would authorize the release of her med info about it. Yep, it will definitely be another chunk out of her hide, IMO!

Another IMO, the more she and her team try to trash Travis, the better he seems and the worse she looks.
:fencefall:

marking my spot...all it takes is a store bought pregnancy test not a doctor visit, Jodi was never pregnant, she would of told her journal if she was, and when she lost the baby. She would of made up crap about how happy she and Travis were, and how devastated they both were when she lost the baby. Nope it's all based on "that's what she said" and Jodi has been shown that every word out of her mouth is a lie.

Now something needs to be done to stop her making any money off of Travis's family. This is an outrage and re-victimizing them all over again.

Now that we are getting closer to a verdict, I am really starting to worry about what this jury might think they know about crime that would influence their deliberations.

For example, in the William Kennedy rape trial, one of the jurors said later that it was impossible for her to believe that he could have been guilty because he was an attractive doctor and member of an influential family and could get all the girls he wanted without resorting to rape. Whether he was guilty or not, it is just not true that rapists are acting from sexual deprivation!

I see people online commenting that Jodi Arias can't be guilty of first degree murder because it was clearly a crime of passion. Now in popular usage, a crime of passion means that someone acts without premeditation because of sudden emotion, for example in the course of an argument.

But some people seem to think that if the crime reveals passion - ie violence involving 'overkill' such as in this case, it can't have been premeditated. That is just not true. People are perfectly capable of being angry with someone for days or even years and then deciding to go kill them. It may sound odd to me or you that someone could sustain such anger for an extended period of time but it's perfectly possible for someone to stew over something and premeditate murder. I can imagine Jodi becoming angry with Travis, planning to kill him, and sustaining that anger for days and days. She may have even hoped she could win him back and he would take her to Cancun but once he made it clear he didn't want her anymore, her rage was boundless.

Is anyone else worried or is it just me obsessing?

She was from Tesoro. She made me giggle, when she said, "We sell gas, at gas stations." :giggle:

That reminded me of one of my bad habits and made me :floorlaugh:. When I go into a convnience store and a cashier asks me if I have gas, I quite deadpan answer - "that's kind of a personal question don't you think "? The looks are fun, the red faces even funnier. I never buy gas at such places and cannot process why I am being asked this question, I need one of those 119s apparently.

What if Juan Martinez has another one? We've made a serious commitment to Mr. Martinez, Rose--you know you would be there!!:floorlaugh:
Juanettes keep their promises!

Not me. Said it many a time. I resigned to the fact there is no point in me saying it anymore. Will sure miss ya but totally understand.

Oh no! I forgot about the possibility of JM having another high-profile case! Yikes! Well in that case...:scared:

Good Morning! I am still quite intimidated by all you intelligent and creative sleuthers so I usually do not post when the trial is in session.

This woman/child is so heinous I can hardly stand the sight of here. She scares me enought that I now dream about her evilness. The worst part of it all is she chose to murder a very good human being. Why could she not have found another losser like herself to get involved with? I wish.

I am hoping someone can tell me why she has been in jail for five years, did she waive her right to a speedy trial? What was the delay in getting her senteced before now. Please help with this question.

Thank you all for your great minds and wonderful sence of humor.. I have laughed and cried as I read each day. Coming down to the wire now and all I can think is the jury has got her # 8794720

, there are many other Jodi's out there, males and females, but she is the sickest thing I have ever, ever seen. Scary!

She would not last too long with her lesbian lover, She likes pocket hoses too much, just sayin.

I don't like Jodi.

Oh I am shocked, shocked ....can you pin point the moment you came to this shocking conclusion?

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Ops I am already starting to have separation anxiety and acting dumb! :blushing:

This time around with the ME, I expect to see the jury submit a lot of very specific questions with the main focus being the order of the traumas. IMO, there is at least one juror who has firmly made up his/her mind that JA is guilty and is asking these questions to get information to other jurors and perhaps for use in deliberations, should that be necessary. Some of these questions have been so good, JM must have smiled to himself and thought "why didn't I ask that?"

When do you think JA starting planning to do TA some kind of harm?

I think that the sex tape was secretly recorded to blackmail Travis and there was a lot of other stuff going on during that April through May period. The first really angry text we heard about was 4/7 where somebody came into Ruby Tuesday and told JA about Travis seeing someone and he called her out on it. From there on it was all downhill. She was out to get him, but I don't think it turned to murderous thoughts until May 26.

I've said that for every trial since OJ. :floorlaugh: When this one is over, I'll still be here I'm sure. This is my refuge away from the craziness of taking care of my 91 year old mother with dementia. :scared: I'm afraid I'd go nutzo if I didn't have something to take my mind of things.

prayers and hugs.

When Jodi claimed she jumped up to that very high far corner of the shelf to retrieve Travis gun, that was her total undoing.

First, the jury realizes Travis never had a gun because he would have had box of shells, a gun cleaning kit, and a holster (think jodi even claimed this too).

Secondly, every juror is looking at that tall shelf in the picture and realizes how hard it would be to get up there especially with someone chasing them and they realize she probably would not have had the time to make it up to that spot the way she claims.

Thirdly, the shelves were not disturbed and in a rush like she claimed something would likely have been moved.

Fourthly, the shelves may not have even supported her weight if she jumped up on them in a hurry.

Fifthly, and most importantly the coincidence of the .25 being stolen at Grams and that matched the shell casing on floor.

So in summary, it all comes down to this story is just not believable to common sense. This is critical because the jury realizes Jodi lied to them directly. This means she probably lied about other things too.

IMO, I feel this part of her testimony was a critical part in her undoing. She went way too far in her lies and this part is a perfect example.

ETA: Added the 5th most important reason above.

I'm surprised Juan didn't ask Flores if the shelf units were attached to the wall. Perhaps he knew the answer and didn't need to pursue it, but if they were not screwed to the wall, the whole unit more than likely would have tipped and fallen forward if she stepped on the bottom shelf and reached up. Happened to me once.

A very close friend of mine just went through #@!! and back with her 19 year old son and his girlfriend.

He wanted to break up with her, (she already has two kids from a previous relationship) and so immediately out came the..."I'm pregnant."

Here's a lesson folks...whenever someone is vague with their answers it's because they are LYING. OR if they give you every tiny detail when the details aren't what you asked about.

This chick claimed she had gone to the hospital to have a pregnancy test but when asked about the paperwork..didn't have any, states the clinic called instead. doesn't remember the doctor's name, had a friend drive her ect...ect...ect...

When the son finally got away then and had completely blocked her calls from his cell phone, she called their house screaming that she was having a miscarriage and was having TWINS no less.

Three words...Bat $#!^crazy. <--------got that from the DSM, it's an official diagnosis.

Comes under the heading of AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Omg you literally made me spit hot cofee on myself.:floorlaugh:

A reminder of Det Flores warning JA about 'The Prosecutor" and what will happen if TP paints that picture. This is a great compilation of mini clips of JM painting that picture.
