They're not coming back til Monday?

Roux isn't objecting to early closure this week, providing state concludes its case next week.

Postponed until Monday 24th. 9.15am.

Well. I don't know what to think.

Ok, so if that's pretty much the State's case other than a few loose ends they want to pull together this weekend ...I'm not impressed that they have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that this was premeditated murder. And they really did nothing to address whether Oscar reasonably feared imminent harm - did they?

Did anyone catch Roux telling Oldwage "you cannot stop it". He told him twice.

IIRC it had already been stated that Van der Nest had concluded that all of the blood spatter was consistent with OP's version - so if the State's own expert makes that conclusion, there's really no way around it.

Not completely consistent unless Reeva peed standing up and facing the door....

So web history isn't important? There have been many many cases where web history has proved a pattern of behaviour, for example, Vincent Tabak and Stuart Hazell both viewing violent child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 before going on to murder two young girls. Why would you think OP's (deleted) browsing habits are of no significance?

I was just wondering what in the world the history could show that would shed any light on the events of Feb 13

Any guy who lives on his own and who's girlfriend is coming to visit is clearing that history believe me.

Well a direct quote from his report was that all the blood spatter was consistent with OP's version. I don't believe OP ever made a claim that Reeva was in the act of peeing or had just finished peeing or was about to pee. He didn't make any comment about where Reeva was positioned in the toilet when he fired the shots.

I think Roux was expecting something. Maybe the 'cast off' blood splatters were his counter if needed. Strange that state didn't seem to regard that as important, but perhaps they think OP could easily say he must have rushed to that part of the room in his panic, before his balcony call?

Seems more likely to me that without blunt force as a possibility for any of the injuries it would be too hard to prove how it got there, or, it's someone else's blood.... perhaps this isn't the first time the Stander's have been called in the wee hours?

One never knows. 'Foolproof suffication' springs to mind. :(

To early to say. there's still every chance the state will take Oscar's story apart when we get to the defence witness's.

LOLOL that made me laugh. I guess we will never know if the history had anything significant since they didn't retrieve it.

True, and maybe the prosecution has an opportunity for rebuttal?

The only thing I can think is he knocked down the door and examined Reeva without his prosthetics, realized she was wounded, and went and threw his prosthetics on so he could carry her downstairs. Makes more sense re: the bat marks and the panic mode aspect. But I can't figure out why he would lie about the order in which he put his legs on.

And with her shorts pulled up.

I doubt OP was stupid enough to look up anything like 'self defence justifications' or verdicts on accidental 'domestic' shootings. I do think he was foolish enough to delete 🤬🤬🤬🤬 history though, that might sully his image. Even though he knew it might look highly suspicious under the circumstances.

Unless he was viewing the kind of 🤬🤬🤬🤬 that could lead to criminal charges.....ugh.
