Fact is, imo, and imbw, to expect all ear witness are going to recall everything they heard that traumatic night, and to all hear exactly the same is pie in the sky. Each will hear differently. It will depend on each person's hearing, on what they were paying more attention to at a given moment, on whether they were facing left or right or looking out or in, on whether a gust of wind went by and the noise momentarily changed direction, etc. etc. etc.

I don't really understand why it is so significant the number of "shots" each heard either, and much less still if the defence is trying to claim double taps which I would think it would be harder to distinguish one from the other.

It isn't. No matter, what witnesses recalling and being asked to remember how many gunshots they heard is never going to yield an exact and consistent answer across the board. Most of the time they just guesstimate and the guesstimation is usually all over the place.

there were 2 sets of pics taken. one she was in, this one, but not the series to be presented to court.. they were not taken on the same day.


he is impugning her memory skills.. she actually teaches memory training.

she is familiar with gunshot. the 2nd . floof kilaber.. I am reading this as flatter sound. I dunno .

she says, they sounded exactly the same. same rapidity..

Ah no...witness just went on about the memory classes she has had...how it's related to emotion etc!

yuoo can see the bathroom window of Oscars, from your bed. yes.

now. Oscar has an ultraviolet light, . its a purple light. sometimes we do have to close the curtains, because the light is penetrative even to my house.

when you heard the first shot>??>>> the light was on a simultaneous observation.

time lapse. directly after, milliseconds, milliseconds. the woman screaming.

the office yu were in with other witness.??


we were not allowed to discuss with each other we were monitored by two very effficent MPA's,, no one was allowed to discuss.

Nel is leading her to explain how the forensic lights in OP's house were so visible, she had to close the curtains. Kind of makes clear she could see.

Now on to sound of shots. Time lapse between sounds of shots and screams. 'Milliseconds between last (of first set of shots) and commencement of screaming.

Nel has quick question about discussion of evidence and it's all over!

If you heard 3 rapid gunshots could you concede that it could be the sound of a cricket bat hitting a door?, if it seemed to you to be impossible?.

Interesting Roux has been absent all morning - or at least I have not noticed him in court. Whatever came up last week has obviously 'stirred his stumps'. I see he is back now. No doubt regretting leaving Oldie to cross-examine Mrs Stipp.

he worked on the cell phones.

he goes thru the procedure of identifying the numbers.

when he got them, it was marked as belonging to Oscar..

when he gets on he takes out the sim card. to remove it from the network. so there is no tampering, and no movement of the device..

because he removed the simcard from each device. he then has to established what the number is.

he goes into REEVAS phone to establish OSCARS number.

From what I saw, Roux was there but completely blocked from the camera by OW except when OW moved to one side or bent over.

He identified Reeva's number through OP's iphone somehow. Removed sims so no outside tampering. Took OP's last dialled numbers and from there established Reeva's number, and to establish OP's number, went through Reeva's.
