He's just a living saint isn't he?

Confused. I thought he said he got the new dogs because they were better watch dogs, then he contradicted himself and said they were deep sleepers.

Yes, I noticed that too.

Oh dear, talking about religion now .. and voice wobbling again ..

O: Dec 2012 I'd been to Jo burg to look at property - I was bowled over by Reeva so thought of moving there. I put in an offer. But reaalized before I could move needed to fix up my house to sell. Got a contractor in - list of things; broken window, carpentry

Says window broke through him throwing cricket ball to dog. Window fixed 13th/14th Feb.

So he was so terrified of intruders that he didn't bother to board up a broken ground floor window, one that had been broken for awhile by the sounds of it.

He is really hyping it up, isn't he .. overly so, imo.

Yup, reconnected with his Lord too.... hidden message that only God should judge him?

O: My religion is very important to me. He's talking about his mom dancing with 'sheets' in Israel??

'When my mom passed, I struggled a bit with my faith....2012 my religion really started...when I met Reeva it was just a blessing. I always wanted a partner who was a christian. She was a very strong christian. She used to pray for me...God's the thing that got me through this past year....(crying)

Oh noooo, he is starting to use Reeva and religion and tearing up a bit. And he is tired today because he didn't sleep last night. :puke:

Time for an adjournment now so his tears are fresh in our minds.

Here we go with religion. I think OP has managed to cover all the bases.

Mum died when he was 15

Charity work

Nelson Mandela

Placid guard dogs

Religion

Oh - and now he's exhausted

O: My God's a refuge.

He did not sleep last night.

O: I am just very, very tired. The weight of this is just very overbearing.

Wasn't much of an apology to the Steenkamps's for taking their daughter's life, was it? Not. At. All.

Nope. Seems the statement of apology was a vehicle for how it affected HIM. All me, me, me, I, I, I.

OMG judge allows early adjournment because OP looks tired!

  • #514
R asks for an adjournment.

Judge ask Nel if that's okay

N: As long as it's not a daily occurence

Judge: He does look exhausted.

Adjourned till 9.30am.

Here in the US, it is sometimes considered rude to insist that certain urban areas are violent and crime ridden. It can be construed as being a kind of biased, racial stereotype.

I understand, though I think that it is fair to talk about the high level of crime in SA - race need not be brought into it, which it hasn't been. I have a number of friends who live or have lived in SA and they have all described a heightened sense of insecurity with regards to the potential of dangerous crime.

But in this specific case, we are asked to believe that he was boating ALL DAY with friends and family, and only had one drink, that he can remember anyway, and then inexplicably ran into a rock and tore his face open.

I think I will take my pick, and assume he was a bit drunk. [ have you ever watched COPS?]

No worries. The boating incident was ages ago anyhow, so who knows?

He has said he smoked a bit of weed years ago, and has a fair bit to drink at parties etc. That's fairly normal tbh.

Hehe. I don't watch cops. The 'Bad Boys' soundtrack is too corny.
