If he shouted all this to Reeva she would have answered. I call BS.

Whaa??? .. what is all this rubbish he is now coming out with .. placing the jeans over the stereo light ..

... and why is Roux prompting him all the time ..??

The stereo light as was discussed here last year, didn't see any jeans covering it in the crime photos, if those photos were correct.

O:...I started shouting near the door...screamed at the people/persons to get out. Slowly made my way down passage...I didn't have my legs on. Just before I got to the wall where the tiles start, I stopped shouting. Thought if person knew where I was, I could get shot. Just before I got to the passage I heard a door slam. It could only be the toilet door.

O: Only light a little led light where tv ws. I could see Reeva's jeans on the floor. I picked them up and was going to place them over the light........

So how did they end up out in the garden?

He heard the toilet door slam?

He never mentioned a door slamming in his BH affidavit.

At that time, it was just a nondescript 'noise'.

  • #406
And Reeva didn't hear him going into recon mode, yelling and shouting. Ha

A bailiff just grabbed Oscar's green bucket from the gallery to move presumably closer to him.

Pants on fire.

In SA he's allowed to lead his witness through his testimony

Op being asked to look at pic 173. No idea what it shows....

passage to the bathroom/bathrm window.

  • #411
Do we have a picture showing the outside of the bathroom window? How feasible is it for someone to enter there given it is on the second floor?

  • #412
He has mentioned two noises.

Window opening, sliding right back and hitting frame
Toilet door slamming

  • #413
Lunch

  • #414
Roux wants lunch. grrrrr

  • #415
Can someone drop in the radio link I listened to during breaks earlier in the trial to listen to during the lunch break... TIA

If I can explain, there will be many things said in addition to the statements that fill in the missing parts of the evening.

Both statements are mere outlines and do not include everything that happened that evening/morning.

This is what the defendant does now, he goes into more details with DT and under cross-exam.

This works exactly the same way for the prosecution. Their claim only comprises of a few paragraphs, and they also fill in the complete details regarding their theory during trial.
To give credence to OP's humungous change of details while belittling the State witnesses who also added things to their statements doesn't seem very fair.

One thing I do believe is the toilet door being slammed shut .

So he woke extremely hot, had used the fans to draw cool air from outside, and now is going to close the doors!! What is going on.

but he was sort of going on about using them as an insect repellant as well?

Shaking head. Would you not whisper to Reeva at this point? Are you there (to check if she is in bathroom). Are you ok? Stay here and let me check this noise out. Ugh. I want to believe him because I really believe love existed between them, but this night and these moments do not compute).

That's where it all falls down for me .. he's made it abundantly clear in his version that she was awake, and he knew she was awake .. and yet he never uttered one single word to her while fetching his gun from under the bed?? .. those words I have highlighted are the exact words that would be used in such a situation .. there is no way that anyone would not do that.

*oh, correction, he whispered to her to call the police, but clearly the lack of response didn't mean a great deal to him, even though he and she were in GRAVE DANGER!!

Absolutely correct, and it works for witnesses too, except there have been some here that have tried to convince others it does not inferring that there can be NO change, NO further elaboration, NO chosing of a different word when a witness takes the stand. I can only see that as a double standard and I am not on any "side" simply on that of truth and justice. In the end, I don't care if OP shot believing the devil himself was in that toilet his recklessness shooting blind without confirming first, whether disabled or not, and when he clearly had other options, requires some redress. jmo
