Yes. She had already slept with some other guy and then kept trying to get Oscar back but he would never reply to her again after Oct 27

I think he's just buying time up until the break before they get down to the actual night of the shooting. He probably wants to have a few words with OP before they start that testimony.

I think Roux is trying to establish that the relationship was a loving one, in an effort to discredit the incriminating text conversations.

I have no doubt that it was an affectionate relationship. I also have no doubt that OP behaved in an abusive manner toward Reeva on several occasions during their very brief relationship.

If OP's version is right, then it seems you may have been right in that she may have had a vendetta of sorts against him in her testimony. She still seems hung up on him and may have harassed Reeva after thy began dating. I don't think know anyone should take her testimony very seriously in light of this information.

It does fit with Reeva's msg sent to OP about being criticized for dating him. I did wonder who was doing that, and why. I suspect there is a huge amount of social media here behind the scenes, that I haven't seen.

Or maybe was. Maybe it's all been deleted now.

He lacks in making sentences and paragraphs compared to Reeva. This was so boring.
He really sounds disinterested in most texts. Hopefully he was more expressive in real life.

He said in the beginning maybe he was a bit more into her than she was into him. Their later texts indicate that she was warming up to the relationship and opening up to him and then fell for him.

Well, I suppose the evidence will either support his version or hers, won't it? One of them is right. It'd be pretty bold of him to say it if it could be proven to be a lie. Apparently, even Reeva felt she might have been harassed by ST. This puts her testimony into perspective, IMO....

For anyone interested, Shrien Dewani finally is back in South Africa landing at Cape Town this morning at around 8:15 as confirmed by SAPS.

I suppose I can only relate to my own relationships at that age and to those in the family about which I know a great deal.

They sound more like 16 year olds than adults, constantly having to reassure each other. I think they were both very needy which, IMO, is a recipe for failure.

This seems an extremely immature relationship, to me. Perhaps I am being harsh but Reeva was nearly 30 and he was middle 20's.

I concur. Given that these were supposed to be private messages between two mature, consenting adults in a loving relationship they seem so sterile and lacking in passion!
