I'm glad I didn't see it. I'm no stenographer and have to look at my keyboard while I type. But I could 'hear' and 'feel' the shock in the courtroom - it was palpable.

I do think it's pretty hard on the family to have the photo flashed up without warning.

And I see what Nel was trying to do - OP's been very graphic about blood and injury in relation to the effect it had on HIM Reeva's shooting and his own accidents) Nel wanted to turn it back and ask, what about the effect on the other person, when it happens to them, and you're the cause of it? Because it has been downplayed into a sterile 'mistake' or 'incident', by defence.

But it all just felt wrong, wrong wrong somehow. And the judge didn't like it either. :(

Aislinn Laing @Simmoa Nel is, without a doubt, trying to viciously strip away any concept that Pistorius is a victim in this. He wants him to confront what he did

As strange, and perhaps to some harsh, as it sounds, facing it is probably the best thing for OP in the long run.

My brain is a little fried right now but a few that come to mind are OP talking about his charitable work. Also when Roux asked him if he has ever come to the aid of someone and he told stories about how he helped a woman in distress, rescued a man being beaten up in the road, etc. That type of stuff.

So frustrating to hear all these experts tell us about it happening yesterday without actually telling us what it was lol

The idea of a trial is to get to the truth. I don't see how these tactics are benefiting that cause in the slightest.

I don't think this has gone down well at all. :notgood:

While looking at the image of Reeva's head/face with gunshot wounds and brain tissue blown out the back of her head, OP spews narcissistic BS. : I took responsibility. I was there. I have been waiting this. This is my time.

Unbelievable!

I recorded it from CNN... I am not offended at all. The world should know about OP's BS claim about trying to resuscitate Reeva with should horrendous gunshots wounds, and he deliberately choose not to to inform the cops !!!

And after that I still believe it was not intentional. (RS specifically)

Am I somehow connected with "Really?" because if I click the THANKS button, then always "Really?" and "FG" plopps?

Maybe now you have made a recent post, it won't do it? Do you mean you return to their posts?

I think its pretty unlikely too. Lots of legal experts seem to feel CH at a minimum because of his statement alone. CH can happen...but only if he can prove putative self-defence. Yet another subjective arena none of us can predict.

Yes I've heard they only have a 1% rule whatever that means for that charge

Yep he's been totally acting the victim. He's not. He's the perp. He needs to own up like a man but of course he's not capable of that. It's all me, me, me. My fears, my pain, my needs. The photo of reeva's head mutilated reminds the world who is the real victim here.

Did I hear him in between his sobs saying he wants to get on with his life? lol This delusional cold blooded murderer is going to spend the rest of his in prison with real burglars who with teach him basic toilet etiquette with tender loving care daily, and not just on Valentine's day.

:floorlaugh:.......:jail:

I missed it all.....none of my feeds came up since lunch/adjournment !

From the BBC (again, sorry, I lack imagination!)

Pumza Fihlani BBC News tweets: Reeva's mother has told journos she understands why pic had to be shown. No doubt it was difficult to see her daughter like that. #Pistorius

Surely that's something to be pursued and examined after trial, when a verdict has been issued. Not something for Nel to decide?

He's not a psychologist as far as I'm aware.

Yep, all its done now is delay things and make Nel look like a doos.
I honestly don't know if that was a wise move as Im no legal expert but cant imagine how it has helped the states case.

Little boys should not play with guns.

The pictures were in the public record, OSCAR IS NOT THE VICTIM HERE, get the lying murderer back up there.

Correction he never said it .. sorry:facepalm:

Perhaps the photographs of the deceased were presented much more dramatically than usual, but it is normal to show defendants the consequences of their actions during cross examination. I would expect that the Steenkamps would have been forewarned.

Sorry, can't keep the time difference straight.

Is it close to lunch there now?
