N: The only reasonable inference from circumstantial eveidence that there was an argument
...the deceased ran screaming from there and that door was never closed.

O: That's not true milady.

nel. you have to move the fan before that duvet gets into that position.

silence. or a mumble.

Oscar. very very weary. all the stuffings gone out of him... very slow..

Nel. your version.

Oscar. I don't know what to include or exclude.. things were moved. things were moved that don't suit the state version. .. photos were taken as if it was how they were found..

nel. they didn't know your version that morning, did they? how culd they negate your version if they didn't know. you hadn't told anyone your version.

Nel. this pic was taken at 5.54am the light is on..

I don't remember switching the light on.

This, I would bet anything on being the truth.

RT @barrybateman: #OscarTrial Nel: That door was open when you and the deceased got into an argument, and she ran away screaming. BB

So Nel has said the fan in that position as shown in the photo would have stopped OP shutting the door, and OP says policeman must have moved it. And the duvet.

N: Is this one big conspiracy against you? Why would the police do that?

Nel points out they didn't do it to disprove OP's version because they didn't know it then. O concededs they didn't he 'Doesn't know why they did it'.

  • #705
N: ...you had to find your prosth, put them on, did you not switch the light on?

In OP's answer, where his 'Only thought was to get help for Reeva' he mentions 'the fan could not possibly have been there'.

  • #706
What door is Nel meaning was open?

Is he stating an open door infers an argument??

I'm lost . . .

  • #707
O now explaining where he DID put the fan ( before police moved it). He is pointing on the photo but I can't see where he pointed.

My eyes are going now.

  • #708
I think Nel's saying the balcony doors and curtains were never closed? OP could always see?

  • #709
I don't remember putting that light on.. I was putting on my legs. now the fan couldn't have possibly been there.. the only thought I hd was to get Reeva.. my legs were there...

Nel. tell the court where YOU put the fan.

the tripod was facing us on the bed. it was in a fixed position. the fan was further to the duve. the smaller fan was facing the right hand side of the bed.

Nel. the larger fan was where the duvet is in the pic?

oh gosh. you bought the fan in all the way over there??

I opened both doors.. the fan was in the middle.. I picked up the small fan, then the big fan, my back was to the bed.

Nel.. now the most amazing thing. when I showed these phots yesterday, yu were not sure..

I don't remember seeing photo 55..

nel. well go to 56..

I am not sure it came up in questioning..

Nel I put it to you. if you move that fan. the plug will not stay in . there is the duvet..

I'm lost . . .

I guess he's saying the door was open and that's why the neighbors could hear it. Though it doesn't explain the 1 hour gap between the argument VDM heard and Reeva's death, nor does it explain why Mrs. Stipp heard nothing before the first set of bangs...

oh dear.. the multiplug... I find myself howling to the moon now..

  • #712
N: So the bigger fan would have been there and it was facing the bed. Most amazing thing, you didn't say that yesterday?

O: I don't remember...don't remember seeing that photo

Now talking about extension leads.

  • #713
I thought he said he did turn that bedroom light on yesterday?

  • #714
argument Oscar and nel re multiplug. a metre... Oscar says there is room for the fan to move, nel says there isn't..

Nel. your version is so improbable. no one would ever think it was possible.

  • #715
Oscar really is the unluckiest guy in the world isn't he? Nothing is his fault, everyone else is lying including his beloved dead girlfriend, his friends. Even his defence team have made mistakes, not him. Plus guns just magically discharge themselves in his presence. Police move evidence. So unfair!

  • #716
I think OP's aware of what Roux is going to be bringing in later, and is preempting this to counter Nel's current arguments.

  • #717
N is saying the fan could not have been moved in the position O says he moved it to because the cable was not long enough and 'the multi plug cannot move'.

O insists the multiplug can be moved, and the cable's not straight. It can be moved.

N: Improbable..impossible

And O says "I think we should move on' when Nel asks if he wants to.

  • #718
I;m sorry, is the large fan actually in that photo? I can't see it at all. Maybe I should have let that nice man upgrade my cable now.

And duvets levitate and dump themselves on the floor!
