No, it would not because it was not in HIS possession...
Don't know actually
Thanks. I was kind of being tongue-in-cheek when I asked if that's what 'automatic' meant - the gun going off by itself without OP pulling the trigger. Maybe someone should test that gun and see if it discharges itself on its own again :smile:With these types of hand guns with a slide there is semi-automatic and could be made illegally fully automatic. A semi-automatic requires someone to pull the trigger each time a shot is fired. A fully automatic would only require the trigger be pulled once and held back to empty the contents of the gun.
If a magazine holds 15 rounds it would take 15 pulls of the trigger to empty the gun. A fully automatic would require only one trigger pull (holding the trigger back) to fire all 15 rounds. The trigger must be pulled to fire the weapon.
Hope that helps a little.
Well, Margaret, there have also been rumors since the outset of trial that Henke P would attend trial at some point, maybe at the end.
But perhaps what came out today might deter this.
I have long said that I doubted .38 ammo was Henke's because Henke lives far away in Capetown area and the 2 have been estranged for circa 5 years.
Today we learned that Henke was not willing to give Pros. an affidavit saying that ammo was his.
Thus perhaps from Oscar's view...more estrangement?
The title of the song itself says a lot. It is also enough to upset Reeva when OP was already upset with her. Biatch don't kill my vibe. Yea, that's a great song to play with your "beloved" girlfriend in the back seat when she knows that you are already ticked off at her and have let her know it.
ETA: I did actually listen to the song instead of just reading the lyrics. The lyrics are clear in what they say. You can pick out exactly what he is saying.
MOO
N: I never meant to pull the trigger?
O: That's correct Milady.
OP just admitted there was no objective reason to fire his gun.
Isn't that him that's been sitting next to June all this week
Yep, totally know what you mean .. just that I listened to the track and have to admit that I quite like the actual music and don't tend to take that much notice of the lyrics (maybe that comes from being a punk in my teenage years and listening to the Sex Pistols all the time and I've just got used to controversial lyrics .. dunno?!)
It's just sad to me that, IMO, if this case were being tried in the US, specifically Florida, Oscar would walk away with not-guilty.
Thank you, but IIRC Nel was questioning him about the extension cord and the fan cord, so his answer was not the fan itself but the cords on the floor.
I am so blown away with OP stating clearly in his answer today that he could not get out on to the patio with the fan where it is in the photos. That so many things were moved by the police before the photos were taken. That he has experts that will prove that things were moved, and incredulously that includes that very large fan blocking the door! That is his testimony, that is his version of the events. That has zero chance of being believed by the Court. This is opening up to be even more bizarre than I even could have imagined. Honestly I do not understand why Mr. Pistorius did not flee the country months ago, truly.
Yep, I also think the relationship went further south after the pistorius family distanced themselves from OP father after his less than unfavorable comments about the ANC.Well, Margaret, there have also been rumors since the outset of trial that Henke P would attend trial at some point, maybe at the end.

Listening to todays testimony and I had to laugh a little when Nel asked OP about the "picked on me incesstantly" and what is that about. OP said "I can't remember my lady." Nel then says quickly "I know you wouldn't....."
On the ammo charge, I do suspect that OP bought the ammo with the intention of getting the relevant firearm.
It's one of those things whereby an extra charge arises from an unrelated incident, the same as the Tasha's and sunroof incidents.
O: The outside balcony light was on
O says there was just enough light to see the fans and Reeva's jeans but when he drew the curtains it was pitch black. He didn't see Reeva when he got up, 'because I had my head down, in my hands'.
N is questioning that OP found the denim?? only because he saw it earlier, not because there was enough light to see it.I think Nel means the jeans by that. Dunno why he's calling them 'the denim'.
