Nel pinning him - you were assaulted that night, but didnt speak to them until the next day?

And O says he doesn't know who assaulted him that night? And now says Mr Batchelor was paid by Mr Berg, confessed to Justin?? ....he's saying it was all abig conspiracy against him.

OP's now mentioned stitches he had in his head.

Look at Barry Roux lol

It's frustrating that he doesn't stick to the actual case involving Reeva.

That said, it's a well known tactic of Nel's, jumping from one scene to an entirely different scene/place whilst hoping to trip the defendant.

Yes, it is a typical prosecution tactic.

N: Why did you look for trouble?

O: If I was looking for trouble. I would not even contemplate speaking to the person...

I wish I knew who all the people are in the gallery.

On Oscar's side he has his sister, aunt, uncle, brother and usually a few cousins.

On Reeva's side it's her Mom, aunt, cousin, the family lawyer, and the Myer family (close friends of Reeva's)

OP is 'more than happy' for the witnesses to be called who were there.

I bet Roux is not pleased with that.

Oscar.. the next day. after this assault, I set up the meeting.

nel.. and yu never laid a charge of assault...

no

Oscar.. its important. mr vanden burgh paid mr batchelor a sum of money. he got caught up with these people who extorted money from him..

Nel. wouldn't it have been easier to just leave??

Oscar.. I was armed, I did leave, I went to the clinic I had stitches put in my head.. . I thought it would be better to try and talk to Mr Batchelor.

Nel. I ask you the question why do you look for trouble??

Oscar.. I was trying to defuse the situation.

Nel. no. noooo. your version of this is not true.. would you be happy for divaris and batchelor to confirm this?? we could get Larena to confirm this, you wuld be happy?

Oscar. yes.

Nel. lets go back to the scene 14 feb early morning. the photo album

He certainly jumps around!

It's a successful strategy. He does the same as Juan Martinez---jumps around so the witness cannot stay on scripted, memorized answers.

How on earth did OP get hit bad enough for stitches in his head, but doesn't know who hit him? No idea?

I wish I knew who all the people are in the gallery.
Psychologist is short grey hair and glasses next to sister Aimee. Besides them I think is an aunt. Uncle Arnold is pretty discernible because he wears an audio device to help him hear testimony. Brother Carl looks a lot like Aimee.

On Reeva's side is often her mom June, her cousin (she has long blonde hair), her close friends - the Myer sisters (both long dark hair), her family's legal advocate, Dup de Bruys; and usually an advocate from the ANC Women's League (advocacy fighting violence against women) in emerald green. Reeva's side is at the disadvantage - many live very far away.

There have been lots of people revolving in and out but I think those are the people there often. Sorry if I'm forgetting others.

Nel trying to make the point that OP goes looking for trouble and gets himself involved in altercations instead of just walking away from them. OP making a point that he had he gun with him, but never used it .. he had to get that one in, didn't he?!

I honestly think he is doing an amazing job. He has shown everybody Oscar's true colors. He is methodically building up to the killing.

His poor lawyers are probably having strokes right now. They have a lot of homework to do thanks to Oscar's non-stop talking.

Nel... you've given evidence up to bringing in the two fans. what happenedthen?

I bought the fans in , closed the doors, covered the amplifier with the jeans, at this point I heard the noise..

nel. why did you cover the light??

and poof there goes my feed..

Dang... missed a bit about the burglary. Did Nel ask OP exactly what was stolen the time he was burgled and didn't report it to the police, and whether he reported it to his insurance whether to make a claim or to advise them his house had been entered safe for when they renewed his insurance?

O: I placed the two fans on the floor, closed the curtains....put the jeans on the amplifier.

N: Why would you cover the light?

O: It was distracting. I was trying to sleep..

N: If it was that bright, it would illuminate the area, otherwise it wouldn't bother you?

O denies it would. And then says he could see jeans on floor, then says silhouette. They were Reeva's jeans.

Was there ever ambient light pictures put into evidence?

O: It had bothered me before. I had covered it with other things.

N: That's not the reason you woke up?

O: Sorry, I didn't hear the question.....
