I do think Oscar sounds like a female when he gets really upset. I don't think it's an act either.

Nel says he wanted it on record that OP showed a crouching position in the witness box. Does anyone know if he is standing or sitting in the box?

I wonder if they've gone to tea? it's time.

Every lawyer I know would HATE that rule with a passion but, as unbiased truth seeker, I absolutely LOVE it! ;)

OMG, I would not be able to tolerate the anxiety!

I think that until the DT brings their witness to actually all the alleged moving around of objects at the crime scene, it is being grossly exaggerated by some. Even Roux the other day seemed to recognise their mistake with what he ignorantly called "photo deception" relevant to the bat having been moved and not lining up with the tiles in the same place when Roux was comparing two photos taken from two totally different places/angles, i.e. one was taken from the handle end and the other from the bat end, which only showed what Brunelleschi discovered during the renaissance, i.e. the foreshortening of objects when represented in 2D perspective.

Snap I literally just said this . It has troubled me that sometimes people can be persuaded to say things that aren't true . A photographer will under normal circumstances know about how perspective can make things look different

I don't think he expected the crime scene investigators to be quite so good at what they do and be able to pick up on every little thing .. he thought/thinks he would/will be able to outwit everyone all the time, but hasn't realised how experienced these people and no amount of contamination will hide things like a trail of blood which follows a line across the carpet then onto the duvet .. and then which means, together with the fact the jeans are overlapping the duvet, that the duvet must've been on the floor all the time .. which then in turn means that the fan couldn't have been in the place where the duvet is.

Nice try though, Oscar.

Agree. Oscar ain't gonna win no Oscar for that dat dere lame performance.

Since we are waiting, why would blood spatter be on the duvet? I'm not up on this part, but didn't he take Reeva from the bathroom to downstairs?

I think Nel's trying to say that as there was spatter on the carpet, then it must mean the duvet was on the floor too as there was spatter on that. OP is saying the duvet spatter could have came from him sitting on the bed but I didn't catch what else he was saying.

E.T.A OP says it was from when he went to get his phones.

He doesn't sound like a woman, he sounds like a transvestite (not being funny here, just explaining what he sounds like and it's not like a woman)

I put it to you that OP is fighting for his life.

Moo

I hate it when OP uses that phrase. He is not fighting for his 'life'......he is fighting for his "lifestyle". It is Reeva who lost her "life"!

But who will be in the box?
Oscar the man, or Oscar the woman?

ETA: Or both?

So supposedly the blood splatter on the carpet and duvet, was splatter from OP holding Reeva? But why would he carry her into the room, rather than out the door to the right, i think?

Nel is flogging a dead horse with the speaking to each other element. I get up and don't tell my OH I am going to the loo or going downstairs to make a drink. I just get up quietly and do whatever.

Me too. But if I hear a noise, I'm the first one to shake him and say :"did you hear that". Same with DH. So I don't know if I"m buying what he's trying to sell. I know things are different in SA - but don't tell me that he didn't confirm RS acknowledged him, or that he didn't check to see if she was in bed before he went gun crazy.

And weren't they just talking? What's the matter baba? I can't sleep. So when did he NOT notice she went to the loo.

Oh, and what's with the dramatics? He needs a break because he said the F word? Because he said get out of my f'n house?

Please OP - you're not doing yourself any favors.

MOO

Mel

Like how a neighbour standing on their balcony could have seen OP, even on his stumps, through his bath room window... especially if he was closer to the sinks than the window? :)

Fun fierce moment from Judge Masipa. There probably was a flash of light in the court from someone’s cell:

Judge than cuts into the proceedings to say:

“There is a flashlight, was that what happened here? Did I imagine there was a flashlight?”(Lonnng uncomfortable pause from the chastised court. We imagine everyone surreptitiously checking their phones in case they are on, or, for their concealed flashlights. Dignified magistrate is dignified.)

“Please proceed.”

  • #258
He was probably yelling for Reeva to " get the ****** out of my house* when she was locked in the bathroom

  • #259
I think I heard Nel mention the blood spatter is thought to be from Reeva's hair as she was carried out of the bedroom to the stairs?

Either the bedroom is very small though, or I can't see why OP would have been carrying her right past the bottom of the bed like that, from the bathroom? Surely he'd have been much closer to the bedroom door?

If I had known he was going to take this long I would have made b'fast!
