O: I heard the door slam as I was shouting and screaming.

N: What did you hear?

O: I heard the door slam.

N: You were convinced it was a door?

O: Yes...I thought either someone had gone into the toilet or possibly kicked or bumped the door as they had exited.

N: You saw the bathroom window was open and toilet door closed?

O: That's correct.

I disagree with the thought that OP at times is confused & not understanding the questions at times. He is very cunning, he is quick to pull Nel up on what he believes is incorrect but most important, he has shown he is constantly thinking & his short term memory is excellent as just proved with the door slamming conversation.

Wow I can't believe he's just changed when he heard the door slam.

O: I'm not sure. (why door slam not in plea explanation or bail affi). I said it to my legal team. I don't know why it's not in there.

N: I put it to you you never told counsel.

O: I did milady.

roux's body language is terrible. his participation virtually zero... even having to be prompted by his back benchers

  • #306
O: I never moved to a specific spot after I shouted.

N: Did you hear door shut before you screamed at Reeva or after?

O: After.

Nel again asks why he never mentioned slamming door in his evidence this morning and OP asks him to repeat the question before the question he just asked??

Boy, am I confused!

Me too. I am having a hard time following today.

I hate it when OP uses that phrase. He is not fighting for his 'life'......he is fighting for his "lifestyle". It is Reeva who lost her "life"!
If he goes to nick the inmates will be fighting for his dosh.

Moo...OP will file appeal for inept council. ......re " I'm not sure "

  • #309
I never thought I'd say this, but I kind of feel bad for Roux.

They should put Roux on the stand, I kid I kid :D

The first one was poor, but he did well IMO with the second one. I just played it back. you know me by now. but I have to say if you just listen to the second one...

I just knew it would be coming. Maybe judge was wise to stop when she did. Oscar the woman might have been up there for a while...

Only thing needed now is for Oscar to do comingling voices--male and female simultaneously.

Nothing would surprise me at this point due to some deep things. Let Nel grill him on the witness saying she overheard male and female voices intermingled, and see if he/they can do it?

I don't think he sounded like a woman although it was obviously a forced attempt to do so and a complete farce. IMO it sounded like a male who had just even kicked between the legs lol.

OP has proved on numerous occasions now that he is extremely sharp, hasn't he .. so that just makes me disbelieve him even more, every time he says he doesn't know/can't answer/doesn't understand the question/etc ..

I know I am not crazy but didn't we hear Nel asking these same questions in depth last week? I know the one able the door slamming was because I got so frustrated how long it was drug out.

I guess SA doesn't have the objection "asked and answered" LOL!

I would love to be a fly on the wall in his uncle's house!

Now onto bail affi. Nel reads and OP doesn't mention it. OP says he doesn't know why.

O: I noticed there was noone in bthrm, the toilet door was closed...there were many many thoughts going thru my mind; someone might climb in window, stick a firearm thru...

N: But did you think there was someone in the toilet?

O: Yes I did Milady.

He's doing it to get him to change the story having to tell it over and over, and it does! Doesn't seem they have many objections there at all!

Snap I literally just said this . It has troubled me that sometimes people can be persuaded to say things that aren't true . A photographer will under normal circumstances know about how perspective can make things look different

I don't think police photographers are artistically trained. They just take photos ensuring enough light, contrast, etc. and the photographer that testified, (can't remember name), seemed more of a policeman. So when Roux challenged him with the bat photos affirming they proved the bat had been moved the poor man agreed when had he been versed in perspective and foreshortening he would have argued back, quite rightly, that it was 100% impossible to affirm movement from 2 different photos from two different angles. By the time of Nel's cross someone on the PT team had obviously told him that Roux misled the court with the bat being moved so Nel in his cross pointed out the different perspectives. Just hope the judge got it so Roux can't try the trick again when they talk about all these moving objects !

Nel wants to know what the 'wood sliding' noise was OP heard, from within the toilet. OP gives a long explanation of yet another sticking creaky door in his house.....

N: You never saw the door or the handle move before you fired?

O: (nearly crying) No, I didn't Milady.

the gun position is too low for him to be on his stumps... and still hit the door at the right angle
