Well, what's your verdict?

Is Dixon a secret graduate of Oscar-Speak {Uni}?

Normally I don't post tweets like the one I'm going to...but we've discussed it before. Everyone's reactions, including those of Reeva herself, in treating Oscar like a little boy are just so bizarre to me. I get he probably needs consoling - I'd be hiding under Masipa's robes - but I just don't get treating him like a toddler with a scraped knee. Little wonder he continues to deflect any responsibility. (Not blaming his family at all - it just seems Oscar is surrounded by people who treat him much younger than he actually is.)

Anyone... did Dixon of Dockgreen say something about the black tallon bullets used not having the black coating, or something about a grey outside ?

Shane13...
Have you gone to the theories thread and added yours yet? I am interested in your "this one runs deep" and hope you explain what you mean.

I am interested in all WSers' theories, btw. I believe OP is guilty and knew Reeva was behind the door. But I am not good with connecting all the dots. ;)

So a 'layman' picks up bruising that 3 actual experts did not? The guy's a joke. He should start every sentence with: "I am not an expert in this field... but I have my own views based on looking online for noises and things".

Well, to be fair to the lil ol man he did keep warning the court that he wasn't an expert in ballistics, pathology, sound... or was that the one he did say he was an expert in... or was that geology ?!

Right. I'm just going to state the bleeding obvious that Oscar and his entire defence team have a disconnect with reality. My evidence:

Gerald Imray@GeraldImrayAP#OscarPistorius #OscarTrial I just overheard defense's Dixon, after Nel mauling: "Nice to get back into court. The interaction. It's fun."

He must have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night. :D

Roger Dixon gets a job as a scarecrow but at the end of the day all the crops have been eaten, "what happened Roger"? said the farmer, "Sorry i'm not an expert in this field".

One of the last things OP claimed during cross was that black talons are what's usually used with "his firearm". Liar, if we believe Dixon who said they were so hard to get that they only used black talons for the shots-through-the wood door test/s, and more easily obtained Rangers for the sound test/s.

As someone who knows some things on that field, I can guarantee you his expertise in geology.

Afterall did you not see that he was trapped... between a rock and a hard place?

I don't really understand all of this or why it matters
You're an attorney.

Could you explain why you feel that a layman, who is presenting 'evidence' under oath, and who is going way beyond his field of expertise... is not significant? How can you say you don't understand why it matters?

Personal interpretation, no real expert witness's were willing to say what the defence wanted to hear.

On that basis alone, his testimony should be discounted. I wonder why Roux didn't get a better expert, someone who didn't need to Google 'noises'...

Has the DT run out of money or something?

He said they couldn't get the black ones so they had to use the same ones but with the brass jacket, then he reversed it and said yes they did get black tallon. I'm confused :/

There's good people in SA.
Not everyone is willing to sell their 'soul" for Rand.

Excellent point. I seriously think those bullets should have been a big part of the prosecution case because they were never designed to just injure somebody, they were designed to kill and mutilate a person.

BIB Please post a link. I mean that with all sincerity. If you could do that it would be very helpful; and not only to those that disagree with you.

Molly is indeed correct.

Lt Col Vermeulen not only agreed that the bat hits were after the gunshots, but also demonstrated this is court.

someone on previous thread brought up a really good point about the key. I am not sure if I have this rigth but is OPs story that he reached in the hole and just happened to see the key on the floor that just happened to be within reach where he could retrive key and then open the door.

The odds of that happening is incredible. If she was holding the key and got shot the odds of the key falling to where he could reach it through that hole in door just seems fantastically coincidental. Unless he had a flashligth and the angle of the hole was such that he could even spot the key is also fantastic.

Me thinks Oscar went to retrieve his other key after he couldnt bash down the door.
OR maybe just reach around and open the door handle through the hole. Dont most doors open from the inside without a key even if locked with a key from outside. Most pop the lock by turning the knob.
