W: Why was that probe put in her wound?

N: It wasn't Prof Saayman. Don't ask the questions!

Nel wants to know why W did not discuss the upward trajectory of the bullet with the defence pathologist. W said he didn't get the opportunity, I think.

I do not understand the importance of this argument. There were 4 shots, 3 hit Reeva, she could have died from three of them but the head shot killed her quickly. Why are they arguing about a mark on her back? Is Nel being a bit too stubborn here?

The important information is the sequence of the shots, ie bang.....bang,bang,bang. or bang,bang,bang,bang and Mangena explained very clearly why it was bang....bang.bang.bang.

N: What you're saying is you put the laser thru A, B, C and D and none ended up in E?....why could Cptn get the laser thru B to E?

W: I could link B with E. Very near but not into it....very clear...it's only a very thin and it breaks up, the laser...there must be some kind of distortion...

W is saying it is very clear the laser line into E is NOT very clear, in case anyone's getting as confused as me.

Now W has just said he did not interfere with Cpt M when he did his investigation, even though he was there.

And Nel snappishly says he did not accuse him of doing so.

W is talking about where he managed to get his laser lines to match nearest to bullet marks. But he has twice said he can't remember if he got matches near certain marks - so he didn't note the results?

What? Why is that guy helping Mi Lady walk? I think she might have bad arthritis.

She walks the same as my cousin who had polio as a child, one leg is shorter than the other because of it. Same age era, it was very common back then

W: I didn't always use his report...

Confusion now over which time he had the report...

And Nel goes for the throat: asks if he still has Cpt M's report, when W says yes Nel demands to know why W didn't keep his own then?

Add to that the position of RS body, indicating sequence of shots.

W just revealed he saw a sound report: "Not long ago...about two or three weeks'

N: Why did you want to see it?

W: A matter of interest. But I'm not an expert. I can't interpret it.

There were also photos and a video of OP?? hitting the door with the bat. But all his photos came out blurred....

W again saying defence only made the video and did the sound tests as a direct result of some man called Jason who made a youtube.

Getting messy again: photos were blurry; has tinnitus; no hearing aids on.

Can't hear even if hearing enhanced, even birds.

N: What difference did you pick up between recording of the bat and gun?

W: As I already said, I'm hard of hearing. But they sounded similar...but I took my hearing aid out....sometimes, I hear the wrong word....I can't testify to this, I'm not a sound expert...

Nel mentions crickets heard in one.

Witness can't hear. 'With my disability, I can't hear that'.

This witness actually told the court he took his hearing aid out for the sound test. I cannot see why he even went to it....

N: All I want you to do is listen to my question- what angle of deflection do you need to get A to E? Work it out.

W: A couple of degrees.

We have gone back to bullet holes and angle deflections again. Witness has photos of his laser tests at home on his computer. Will bring them.

Now Nel wants any report brought in to. Witness hedges.

Nel is not going to get the notes/reports whatever they are, that are on W's computer at home. Or maybe some notes, from November 8th. And definitely he can have the photos from then....
