N: I've just been advised-isn't that firearm, doesn't it have a very short ram?

They are talking about the tests I think, and the gun failing. Maybe it was the fault of the ammo?

Not sure what Nel's point is?

Curious habit Nel has. He is always going to "deal with that", "get back to that", "cover that"... but very often the matters have been out paced by others during and nothing more is said of them.

Yup. He is so tricky. When he does double back, he does it totally without warning. He's caught me on the hop several times!

Glad the splenters came up, I never felt confident re use of board.

To be honest I believe this is all over.

So unpleasant to see the expert demolished after a distinguished career, but he set himself up for this. It's hard to take in some of the blatant incompetence. Should have known better.

There's sharp brains re Nel and team.

Could some kind soul please tell me why paper would've been preferential to the board? I don't understand it .. I know that Nel said it would be easier to see, but I don't understand why it would've been or why paper would've made any difference to board

N: Cpt- I really do apologise my lady...

W: He's called me Cpt many times while I was in the police Milady. I'm not offended by it.

Nel said because paper would have let fragments pass thru, more like flesh, I think. Board showed a misleading dispersement pattern?

How can he go back on what he said about the magazine rack like that? Was something said to him during the lunch break??

N: If she's sitting on the floor, none of the other bullets would have hit her. She'd have been too low.

W: She was falling as she was hit....

N: It's quarter to three...been a long day for me...may I ask for an adjournment?

Judge: Mr Roux?

R: It's only 10 minutes. I'm not going to argue.

Adjourned until 9.30am Monday.

Only I think they all just came back?

Ah, ok thanks .. makes so much sense now you say it! :-)

I know minor4th wouldn't agree but regardless of whether OP is found guilty, I've found Nel's method of questioning riveting. I actually think he could have convicted OJ!

One thing I've found unusual throughout is how they're allowed to ask who were at the tests or if they've seen other defence reports etc.

Roux saying he wants pages redacted for media because photos should not be shown. 18-28.

Judge queries why 23 can't be shown.

Roux wants them all redacted, including clothing pics; 'All are not that sensitive but I thought...Milady, I'm in your hands..'

Well that was painful.

Preferable to Roux's habit of promising to 'prove' many things that would be helpful to OP's defence (ie, head shot first - no screaming)... but then quietly slunk away without so much as a whisper.

Awww I've become quite fond of Wollie, bless him. I think he deserves a nice sit down and a few beers now.

Exhibit MM will be available to press except for pages mentioned by Mr Roux.

Mmm. Kinda funny how censorship decided on Roux's whim, when he acknowledges some of those pics 'aren't sensitive'?

Did anyone just notice the size of Woolies briefcase? I was more like a suitcase and yet he's got no notes, no reports, no laptop/computer with all his findings on .. so what's he got in there then?

I think the session has actually finished now....
