I might have missed it, can anyone fill me in as to what type of anxiety disorder Oscar is allegedly suffering?
General Anxiety Disorder...just like millions and millions of other people.I might have missed it, can anyone fill me in as to what type of anxiety disorder Oscar is allegedly suffering?
Dr Merryl Vorster agreed with an alleged ex-wife murderer that he had amnesia while he "stabbed her repeatedly."
She says semi-autism, which he clarified as 'psychogenic amnesia' can last for a few minutes, "which explained why Alexander had handed himself over to the police after he realised "he had acted in a violent manner.""
A chill runs over my body at this type of defense diagnosis and psych testimony about the men who kill their partners.
All the Pistorius family are chewing gum?
I thought the article was worth reading for people to understand what she was testifying. I did not imply anything else other than it can be associated with other psychological disorders.
It would have been better for him if people rarely stayed at his house, because then he could have said he was unfamiliar with 'guest' noises. But the fact he's had people stay over regularly... and not killed any of them for making night noises sort of blows his permanent 'fear' of intruders away. This psych witness got her info straight from OP. He told her he felt unsafe in SA, but alleviated his anxiety by having friends often stay overnight at his house. And none of them ever got up in the night and made an audible "noise"?
Just general anxiety disorder. Quite common apparently.
Yep. That's exactly what's happening in the Dewani case. He's actually institutionalised in a psych hospital.
She herself intimated as much, in my opinion. Thanks, I thought it may have been generalized anxiety disorder. You are quite right it is extremely common. But to be diagnosed as a mental condition, it has to be 'excessive, intrusive, persistent and debilitating'...I don't think these apply to Oscar.
Can anyone help with how to include links in a post.....now that we are on a break? I've read the FAQ's and still can't work it out? I see the insert link button......Do I use this? It seems to bring the address twice when I copy/paste?
Many TIA..
Did Roux give the impression that he hadn't seen the report either, or just wanted time to consider it some more?
I thought he asked for adj time just before the Dr V came into the court. There were earnest words between him and the blonde woman behind him.
Judge moved them on as witness had already entered the court.
I reckon. It seems it's his mother's fault as she was anxious. I hate this BS too.
