possibly events at the olympics 2012 brought it on... just saying.

OP lost his first professional race ever on Sept. 2 at the Paralympics. Then in the months after, ending with Feb. 14, there were a series of publicity disasters for OP.

N: I apologise milady.

Judge: We all misunderstood you.

?????

Is this still Dr V?

Yes, I think it is.

Dr V says she has followed the case, I think.

i keep meaning to ask whether this is the norm for websleuths cases... whether all cases people follow here are this bizarre.
Not the norm, but some have been incredibly strange. I nearly said earlier that Florida and SA must be sharing water supplies. Florida is well known for some truly bizarre cases. (Squirrels, anyone?) No offence intended to our crime-abiding Floridian friends, of course. :)

yes i agree... escalating events too i believe. so we had threat to athletics and threat to sponsorship over that period.

N: Can I also tell you during cross he would say, 'I don't know where you're going, I'm fighting for my life'. And in your interview he's also 'fighting for his life'?

V: No, he didn't say that.

N establishes OP was interviewed first, then his family members.

V now searching thru her files....

I thought one of OP's group was kissing the man next to her then, but realized she was actually whispering in his ear....

Me too. And he would appear to be on the very low spectrum of GAD. I tend to be a recluse, HATE public places, can't stand traffic, and strangers give me the willies too. Yet, he appears to live a very public life (lights, camera, action). I guess one could live with GAD under those circumstances, but not me! Just the thought puts me in a tail spin.

Mel

I'm really sorry to hear that Mel. I'm glad you like this place, where you feel comfortable, safe and can chat till your hearts content. :yourock:

N: What is the purpose of your report?

V: To bring psych factors to the attention to the court, in regard to conviction and sentencing...it's a possibility the court may use it.

i did an omg too!!! surely this should be a longer-term considered opinion

interviewed:
sister
brother
manager
coach

where is the balance dr!!!!

She's been a busy lady these last few days!

Yes, as Barry Bateman says on Twitter...So either the disorder not important enough to be a fair defence or important enough to need referral! Cornered eh

https://twitter.com/barrybateman

Yes .This definitely seems to be the case.
I have thought earlier on that using his disability to try and absolve his culpability would have been his best defence but again this is where OP 's personality comes into it because he doesn't intend to do any sort of time in any sort of facility what so ever . He expects to be acquitted of all charges.

N: You have indicated that disorder is relevant to his defence?

V: It MAY be relevant...

So they've waited to see how the whole trial has played out to do this evaluation and let oscar say the right things. Unbelievable. She's met him twice! Has he not been seeing a psychiatrist all this time for these terrible issues?

Oh my god, she only met OP last week!!!!
I need to revise what I posted earlier. I don't believe her testimony will hold much weight at all considering that.

OP is under a psychologist's care too (the lady who keeps stroking him and cradling his head in court) and I have to wonder why she didn't testify instead. She at least has established a rapport - but I guess that could well work against the defence once Nel asked her why she was stroking his face in court. ;)

Psychologist on WhoopWhoop saying the OP might have a psychotic break if he is incarcerated.

Oh poor him, a psychotic break if locked up in the slammer. Have they considered the anxiety and fear poor Reeva must have felt when the coward had her cornered in the toilet room.
