Wow I can't take any more moaning on about the "toilet door"... I skimmed through today and from what I get they start about 930a and quit about 3p and yet videos are only about 3 hours of testimony. Do they take really long lunch and tea breaks? It just seems so little testimony in a "full" day of court. Also...OP is pulling a Jodi Arias now wearing glasses to look like a school boy. Definitely a new look today but possible it is normal and I have just missed it.

That's assuming Ms Steenkamp's body was not covering the key, making it out of sight of Pistorius?

I have visions of Pistorius on his stumps reaching for a key and falling forward into the cubicle, being stuck on his head, kicking his stumps around!

Well, OP's leg doesn't look to me as though it has knelt on the floor, in a pool of blood, to pick up a dying woman. It just looks like a stream of blood has flowed down onto his sock from a height, then become a little smeared?

Is that the sock that went missing for forensics? Terrible, if so.

Thinking of the key with the green tag, I have spare car and house keys and I bought coloured tags for both of them (to remind me they're the spare keys). My main keys have no tags. I know if I try and use a spare key in my front door lock, (and it's locked with a key on the inside) it will fit the lock, but it won't turn. I know this from leaving the house via my back garden and forgetting I've locked my front door. Could Reeva have locked herself in with one key and OP tried to open the door with his spare key, but it wouldn't open so he shot through it?

Zoomed, it seems there are two clear, downward heading drops of blood on his leg. But I really would have expected more smudges, smears and sweeps as he dragged Reeva and then knelt and picked her up. Perhaps there were more marks on the other side or other leg. That one doesn't look cracked or damaged.

I know. They seem to cover very little in between the tea breaks, adjournments, more adjournments, and all the repeating of the same questions over and over and over. Feels like they sit for just a few hours a day!

The position of this plank makes little sense either. I think this is the one Von spoke of, that led him to believe the door was bashed in after Reeva was shot, as it was on top of blood trails on the floor?

But that trail is outside the toilet door. So how did Oscar bash IN a plank (while Reeva was still inside the toilet and so should not have been bleeding outside) and it somehow fell OUTWARDS on top of blood that wasn't yet there?

I'm beginning to think Reeva was already bleeding before she got to the toilet.....

Whoops! Now I'm going on about it too.....

As far as I understand OP [allegedly] said to Stander: "take my car to take reeva to hospital."
Stander says no, he would rather get a medical and ambulance....

Do you have a link where it was reported the car WAS running ? Sorry, but I can't follow the live stream so I ask for a link ;)

And as far as I remember Stander stood at the car (a white BMW) with a phone at his ear when Dr Stipp arrived at OP's house. But at this time Stander have not called ambulance. He did it only when Dr Stipp asked him to do this.

BBM

That is an issue I want clarified. When EXACTLY did anyone call for an ambulance. Roux claims that OP called net care @ 3:20 am. Is that verified, and do we even know what he asked and what the answer was?

I think moving her from the crime scene was a deliberate ploy to make sure her blood was dotted all over the place and therefore make it harder to establish exactly what happened in that toilet. Yes. I'm cynical! But then Stander's daughter is a lawyer and was 'comforting' OP while her father (estate manager?) didn't call an ambulance until Stipp told him to. Stinking cover up in my opinion to protect OP's hero status, which was clearly more important than getting medical help for Reeva.

Sorry, last post about the door.

That plank could have fallen inside against the door and when OP opened the door it fell out into the bathroom - but it just couldn't/shouldn't have fallen on top of blood in the bathroom at that stage, according to Oscar's own story. There should not have been blood in the bathroom until Oscar dragged Reeva out of the toilet, per his version.

If he was moving bits of wood about when he should have been trying to help Reeva....well, that speaks for itself.

ETA: Cheating I know, but officially this isn't another post - even if he knocked the wood when dragging Reeva, her blood would hardly have been able to flow underneath it like that.

That blood trail looks as though it could be going into the toilet, as well as going out. If there are splatters on the bathroom walls, I'm going to think Reeva was hurt before she got into the toilet.

Heck though, how could a man without legs catch and injure a fit, healthy, young woman fleeing for her life from the bedroom, before she made it to the toilet? He'd have to be an Olympic champion or something....:

  • #514
Wait, where are you getting two in the bedroom now?
Two blackberrys in the bedroom, two iphones in the bathroom, and then there's OP's "other" iphone - making a total of 5 phones.

Can any South Africans give me the name of a popular hardware store, or alternatively tell me the sizings of modern doors, if you have set sizes, please?

I'm interested to know how the blood spots got on the couch.

He was bashing the door panel IN with a cricket bat, but it ends up like this, as though it has flown OUT into the bathroom and landed on the floor? It makes no sense.

I don't think it means anything, as the photographs were taken after he'd removed Reeva. He may have dragged her out. So inevitably the entire scene has been disturbed, and those bits of wood are not necessarily where they fell.

As for blood, well, even a small head injury will bleed copiously, so he's bound to have got plenty on himself, conveniently.

This morning I decided I needed to read something on this case beyond info provided by ppl mag.

I went to www.mirror.co.uk and read a transcript from, I believe yesterday, where Lt.Col. V. was testifying in CT. about the bat, bullets, and bathroom door. It gave me a headache trying to understand what he was saying. I must have read one of his answers six times before I gave up trying to figure out what he was saying.

Along about then, I looked at the time of day listings on the left hand side of the page and realized I should have started reading from the bottom up. Grrrh...

Well, reading from the bottom up didn't clarify much. I'm still trying to figure out why you can't push the bat into the indent it made in the door due to the bat having been swung hard when it made the indent?!?!?

It would appear that Lt.Col.V. has reversed his opinion and now thinks the bat was used after the shooting. Am I understanding that correctly? tia
