Talking about the different camera angles of the cricket bat.

Nel pointing out some pics Roux showed of bedroom had been changed were taken Feb 16. Asks VS if he moved anything on the morning of 14th when he took the first set of photos.

VS says he did not.

Ooh, I have some great pics of perspective and how it is deceptive. I'll have to look them up. Nel is good to have spotted this. The photographer did not, when Roux was questioning him.

VS did not do the verification of pics. Clerk did. It's the clerk's job.

I was frustrated that Van Staden didn't explain that during cross, but I'm so glad Nel is all over it! :cheer:

VS: I sealed bat in a forensic bag and took a photo of it......it was part of those that were collected, took it to my office, put it in a safe place. Then sent it to the forensics to be analysed, still in the bag.

VS agrees with Nel it was taken Feb 15th.

VS collected the door from Col Van R who had kept door in his office. It arrived to him sealed in body bag, after pics he handed that to forensics too.

Nel steps down.

Help me someone. Did Nel just say 'you must be in that photo' to VS and VS agreed, even though it was just showing an empty passage and a cartridge shell on floor?

Refers to both photographers being in the hallway together, then the other one should be in that photo & vice versa. Think that's what he's saying lol

VS says he does not know.

Roux says pic was taken by Col M and it proves he was not alone in bathroom.

Judge misses who took photo and R repeats it was taken by Col M.

VS says 'If I am being asked if I take photos of other people when I am taking crime scene pics, the answer is No.'

Nel declines opp to recross. Wants to adjourn due to 'time wasted' today. Wants Cpt M to give evidence in one sitting because he is a tech witness.

Judge wants to know why it is a disadvantage.

Oh, she has made him call him now. Nel v. disappointed.

I suppose if the judge is confident she can keep up with tech testimony over two sittings, it's fine.
