No, there is no hard right from CFA to Ross's office (unless the right out of CFA counts). Ross would have turned right out of CFA (looking left as minor4th stated), immediately gotten in the left lane for a U-turn (he would have been looking straight ahead), made a U-turn, and then proceeded straight to his office.

I thought the exact same thing.

These currents texts are not good for Ross. He admits to having a sex addiction and staying only because of Cooper. "He's the glue that holds it all together."

Like a zillion other couples who stay married for their children. This is feeling more and more like a public stoning. The fact he's a man doesn't mean he isn't being 🤬🤬🤬🤬 shamed. He is.

I agree. If you are in charge of a child and the child dies under your care (purposely killed or not), you need to be investigated. Including me, if a child died in my hot car alone.

What if there is a really wicked person (think Scott Peterson) who baked a child to death on purpose and claims he just forgot about the child? I would not want LE to let him go scot-free.

((Pocket))). You arrived just in time for testimony about sex and pics of private parts being texted. What are the odds ? ;)

Do we know if RH's parents are divorced or still married? Just curious

Just want to point out that married guys who are trolling chicks on the internet always say they are unhappy with their wife and don't have sex with them - whether or not it's true lol

I agree. This part of testimony is so, so tedious. However, I count 4 times in today's testimony he said "kid" when asked why he doesn't get divorced. I don't know what the jury will make of it, but I have to believe the defense really doesn't want them to hear it.

I've stopped watching the live stream, no idea how many more times it was said.

This is just going to his bad character. So how are these 2013 stuff got to do with Cooper death June 18, 2014. I wonder how the jury looks. Stoddard is liking talking dirty. And he is not coming across good to me. JMHO

I think I may not be making myself clear here :blushing: I was watching the video of LE driving from Ross' work to where he pulled into the parking lot when he finally saw Cooper, so technically he was on his was to the movies, I did not see any hard right turns. Sorry if I haven't been clear.

I just played my husband the video of JRH and Leanna meeting for the first time after Cooper's death. Within 3 seconds he said "Why isn't she distraught?" I'm still not sure what to make of her behaviour after the baby died.

"I love my son, but that joker drains my paycheck"

Not a a great quote by Ross.

Stoddard taking notes while testifying is reminding me of Mark Siever's mom taking notes while answering questions at the police station - a totally stupid thing to do. Totally OT, but some on here will know what I'm talking about.

"I love my son but that joker drains my paycheck." Ugh, he's such a classy guy.

I thought he seemed tired of having to reading that stuff. Or maybe I was tired of hearing it. Could be either or both, lol.

I doubt the jury will be in any hurry to catch up on text messages today. Cue twilight zone music.

The judge needs to move this along fgs.

I can't imagine how Leanna feels listening to the way he used to talk about her.

  • #637
Did the prosecution take into consideration that it was Cooper that died, and not Leanna?
It seems that this testimony would be a lot more pertinent if he spent all day talking about how much he disliked being a father, rather than a husband.

I don't know if RH planned Coopers death or not, I flip flop all over the place. But I am not seeing his dissatisfaction with marriage as any sort of smoking gun here.

Stoddard then talks about an email from Leanna Harris on Jan. 30, 2013, with a subject line "Don't be this dad." It contained a link to a local TV station's story about a father who leaves a child in his carhttps://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=1137572943003195&id=100002515007360&aid=1073741962&comment_id=1137706822989807&ref=notif&notif_t=photo_album_comment&notif_id=1477329250435320 for eight hours on a cold day. A second email is a forward of a message headed "Look again" from a state agency.

A third email sent on May 13, 2014, a little more than a month before Cooper's death, said "a 2-year-old in Clarkston, Ga., died after being left in her mother's car," Stoddard says.

You know what? This is a very, very interesting statement and one that is worth taking several looks at. Why indeed is it that we don't hear about people leaving their children in cars when it's really, really cold out?

I have friends living in the northern areas of North Dakota, Montana, Wisconsin, Minnesota ect..and when I read this I am forced to strain my brain to attempt some kind of recall where ANY child recently has been left in a car in the winter in these areas.

This is very interesting and puzzling. I'm sure it happens but absolutely not with the enormous frequency that this does in the summer. It REALLY begs the question as to just how many of these 'accidents' are truly accidents? This summer we seemed to have a dang outbreak of people leaving their kids in cars in our state and several over. Seriously! It was like two a month.
