question...jury instructions are not complete yet...do they still start closing or do jury instructions have to be done first? Sort of expecting Kilgore to come up with some surprises today.
Hi Pen.
That assumes he is a narcissist/sociopath (no evidence of that, and plenty of evidence to the contrary); that he didn't genuinely love Cooper (no evidence of that, and 100% consensus of people who knew him that this is untrue); that he premeditated Cooper's death (no direct evidence this was so,and imo only a very flawed circumstantial case for it); and that RH would be so stupid, if he knew anything about FBS , as to think people would feel sympathy for him because he was responsible for his child's death.
Nah......

Interesting to note: Travis Alexander didn't kill anyone, and wasn't a narcissist.I remember another person who had a secret double life - a sordid sexual life even though it was against everything he believed in and preached, and whose friends and family had no idea what he was really like. Travis Alexander. It obviously didn't make him a psychopath, a violent person or a murderer, though. Luckily the jury saw that.
It is an interesting jury. I think there might be a lot of division. I hope it is not a hung jury in the end. There are equal number of men to women, which might be an interesting dynamic. But also 5 people with no children.
I think this woman will be the key, perhaps:
6. Married to a retired longshoreman, a registrar at a local high school. Two older sons and six grandchildren. She served on juries before, and was foreperson before. Not big on social media, her father killed in the line of duty as a police officer when she was 12. She says if she is on the jury shell make sure fellow jurors follow the law.
It is possible that she will end up as the foreperson. She sounds like a very organized individual, being a registrar. So she can deal with paperwork and reading the fine print and the details very well. And she mentions following the letter of the law. So she will be a stickler for the wording of each line on the jury instructions.
The key will be which 'side' does she lean towards? I think she might be able to sway people to her position if she feels they are uncertain...?
Vinnie said defense is going first.....
