I'll repost the tweet and then I'm off this topic because we're obviously not interpreting the tweets the same way. The key words "recapping" and "stream of ex girlfriends".

Court is on another 15 min break. Judge has just finished recapping stream of ex-girlfriends who came to testify against #Rafferty in trial
gosh... thank you to those who have been posting the tweets..... my brain is numb and I am not even in the courtroom!
Another example. Why is it necessary for the judge to recap how Rafferty and McCLintic met? That's all in testimony.
Is he giving his closing arguments or what? This is weird.
it would not surprise me that after sex with Tori he had sex with TLM. MOO
giantalkinghead,
I agree that TLM may qualify for a DOA. If she keeps going the way she has she will commit more crimes/assaults etc. in jail and be declared a dangerous offender.
MR, he'll probably have all kinds of women on the outside writing to him and sending him money.
You can't just appeal because you didn't like the outcome. There has to be legal errors made in the original trial before the Supreme Court will even consider it. I don't think there has been any legal errors made and I don't think the Supreme Court will think so either. But everyone tries. What do they have to lose?
MOO
I'm happy this judge is going over all of it with a fine tooth comb because the chances of the defense being granted another trial, especially since someone here posted that Heeney said since the defense only opted for one witness, I doubt it will be granted...dot your i's cover your t's, I don't want him out if found guilty IMO

I know I did some digging on the internet a few weeks back on this subject. I posted some links in one of the past threads, but I have no idea which one. LOL
From what I recall, a dangerous offender designation has to be done within 6 months of the sentencing. Only 2 or 3 women have been designated as such in Canada. One has since died, and another had the designation revoked and was freed (!!). I don't think TLM will be designated a dangerous offender, but I am not a lawyer and, like you say, who knows what other trouble she will get into in the future.
ETA: Ewwwww @ the thought of a bunch of female admirers!
How the heck did that happen? She clearly kidnapped TS???
I'm still wondering about MTR's reactions in the court room. I wished I knew something about psychology. I don't understand why he started all his mumbling and rolling eyes during the closing argument. Why not during the testimony? Why showing any kind of reactions when the trial is in the wrapping up process? Everything he did hear there was nothing different than weeks earlier during the beginning of the trial... ?? So why starting when it is way too late??
